[The video begins recording amidst a spray of shattered brick and a cloud of dust from which Josuke immediately emerges. Behind him, a gaping hole in the front entrance of a pharmacy mends itself back together again, brick upon brick sliding back into place, dust rising up and disappearing off the sidewalk. He looks as though he's seen better days. So has his cadet's uniform. But Josuke pays none of it any mind. He adjusts the strap of a bag he's got slung over one shoulder, and then turns his attention to the network.]

I've got no way to get to the other Porter cities quickly enough unless someone can shuffle me around, but for anyone in Heropa—

[He cuts off suddenly, something in his line of sight catching his attention — and prompting him to move with great haste. A quiet curse escapes him as he drops his phone in the process...but as it tumbles along the sidewalk ultimately landing face up, lens toward a smoking sky, the device captures Josuke's figure reaching for a red and white sign that was knocked to the ground. With a legionnaire rider practically on top of him.

Only a booming clang gives any indication of what's happened next. Someone has been struck, but it isn't clear who until a riderless horse whizzes on by and Josuke's voice returns. Loud, clear, and irritable.]

The sign reads yield, asshole.

[Hurrying back to where he'd dropped his device, he scoops it up off the curb and leans against the steel sign he's adopted for now as a weapon.]

As I was saying...I'm making rounds. For anyone in the Heropa area that needs medical supplies or someone to heal them, or even repairs made to whatever you got to defend yourselves with, just let me know. I got your back.

[ Look at her, actually doing something about things. ]

[All things considered, that's some of the best news Josuke's gotten all day, but it's still hard to believe it's offered up so quickly.]

It won't be pretty, but it'll be effective.

[Ah, there we go. Josuke knew it sounded too good to be true. Or at least too good to be that simple.]

What sort of side-effects should I be expecting?

[Because he can't really say no, can he? But he can at least prepare himself.]

I need to be in free fall to teleport. So yeah...free fall.

Like...off a building? Or could a height a little closer to the ground do the same trick?

[He doesn't even wanna think how she found out about that being a requirement. Has to hope it was in her file or something less traumatizing.]

It doesn't need to be from ridiculously high, but at least high enough that the fall takes some seconds so I can focus on teleporting, you know.

I'm not in Heropa myself...but I have friends there. So--thanks, for looking out for people there. [He sighs, worry still clearly etched across his face. This whole situation was bad.]

If you hear any word of people in De Chima that need a hand, send them my way or let me know. I can cover some areas here if you don't have anyone to shuffle you around.

I think I got someone who might be able to move me around from place to place...but you know what? [Josuke smiles gratefully.] Wouldn't hurt to have someone else helping out in De Chima!

[He grins wide.] The name's Lance...and this here is Blue.[>He gestures to the mechanical lion behind him.]

Josuke blinks...and then nods. Better to just roll with it. And since Yield-chan has already been given an introduction, he just fires off his own name.]

Thanks, Josuke...To be honest, two of my friends are in Heropa and I haven't been able to touch base with them. If you run into anyone named Hunk or Pidge...That's them.

They're pretty easy to spot considering they have lions too--one green, one yellow.

[Paladins of Voltwhatnow? Probably another detail it's better just to nod his head and roll with, to be honest. It doesn't sound like a bad thing, and for now that's enough.]

Got it. Do you know whereabouts they live in Heropa? It'd probably be best to begin looking there and work my way out from there.

[With any luck, they won't have gotten stuck someplace in the wide open, although with lions like those, Josuke gets the feeling he'll find both Pidge and Hunk alive and well.]

Hunk's in #001 out that way. Pidge--I'm not too sure.

[He frowns, because how did he not know where she was? He'd have to fix that after this chaos.]

Hunk works in a garage too, so they might be there. It's the only lead I've got, sorry...

Don't sweat it, 001's right around the corner from my place, I know the area really well. If Hunk's there, Pidge might be too.

[He can hope, anyway. And if only one of them is there, that's one more who can help him find Pidge, right? He just has to keep looking a this from the bright side of things.

As bright a side as there is with tanks rolling around, gunshots firing off, and bombers in the air, anyway...]

And if they're in a garage...well, I can think of worse places to be holed up. They'll have a lot there to defend themselves with if they need it, and that's good.
