[The elderly gentleman that the camera is focused on looks polished, wearing a crisp white shirt along with a suit jacket and a bow tie. When he speaks, his voice has a distinct British accent.]
If there is anyone that might be able to tell me anything about this world or our current location that would be most appreciated. I did receive a file upon my arrival here, but I do have some concerns that certain details might be… lacking.
[He glances down for just a moment, at something off screen, before returning his focus to the communicator.] Also, I understand there is something of a possibility that one or more of my colleagues could have found themselves here, as well. If there is some way that I could go about finding their locations it would be most appreciated. Thank you.
[There's a momentary pause and then the feed disconnects.]

I was under the impression that you were one of Master Richard's closest friends. Perhaps that isn't the case for you?
[Alfred waits for Wally to, hopefully, fill him in. Should this friendship become an issue, the more he knows, the better. Wally clearly knows about Richard or he wouldn't be fumbling to overcorrect himself.]

That...depends entirely on who's asking.
[So not really dodging it anymore, mostly because Wally might not be a good liar but he's at least smart enough to know when he's been found out.]
If certain people who already know certain things are asking then yeah, I'm Di- Richard's [so weird] best friend.

[His lips quirk up in a small smile, hoping that the gesture will allow Wally to relax some.]
Richard is lucky to have a friend like you, and it's a comfort to know there's someone he can count on when he's away from home.
[Alfred hopes he's reading the situation right, but Wally had claimed that he was Richard's best friend, so at least that was a constant, regardless of what world the teenagers might be from.]

Well, it's the same for me too. Not like this isn't a mutually beneficial arrangement we have going or anything. [He at least uses his napkin to wipe his mouth -something in Alfred exudes 'mind your manners' vibes- and sits up straight, clicking his fork against his plate as he thinks.] So you know that he told me? 'Cause he said he didn't even tell Batman which, y'know, I don't blame him for. The guy's kind of intimidating. [hahahaha 'kind of']

There seem to be some differences between your world and mine. You are much younger now than you were when I last saw you before having arrived here. I'm certain that the Batman I know is also aware of who knows his secrets. [That's far from the entire story, but Alfred isn't eager to share news of the current state of affairs with the Bat family with anybody who isn't already aware of them.]
