really i think the mess is a bigger concern than the effort
im never worried about how hard one may have to work at something
it just when that work is cleaning the innards of a harmless hamster
who would want to do that

I don't know about harmless, though. They've been getting into some pretty vicious fights.

how long have they shared a cage
because either its very recent or someone was terrible at keeping them
maybe it would be better to separate them to avoid another sort of mess

I've got someone interested in them, and I told them so, they seem fine with that
I'm not sure how long they've been together, though...

there are just hamsters right now and you want there not to be hamsters
maybe it would be better for the hamsters too

well giving them food tends to be the first step
but if theyre fighting you may want to put them in separate enclosures so that doesnt give them something else to fight over
