I'm not going to waste time asking if there is a way off this backwater planet, it doesn't seem as if anyone has managed something so basic thus far. I don't understand why the natives of this planet seem to be proud of themselves as if this planet is something special despite being so primitive.

But it seems as I am stuck here for the foreseeable future so tell me what this planet has to offer, I'm curious to know.

[When he's done writing he switched to video but all that can be seen is a sheet with neatly written, very premise, Aurebesh symbols written on it-

No one seemed to know about Starkiller and the Hosnian System but he had to make sure and know who else was on this backwater planet. He held the paper there for a few moments before finally cutting the feed.]

[ The rest of that, Hux? Nah, you're wrong. ]

[Hux was angry enough before not to notice Luke's username until he got the next notification and then there was a long pause.

His day had just gotten a lot worse.]

I see where he gets it from now. [It was said to himself mostly but he wasn't worried about Luke overhearing. If Ren was unaware of Luke's presence then that would resolve soon enough.] I have proof but I don't feel like justifying myself to you. I'm secure enough in the knowledge of what I've done.

[ Blah, blah; arrogant Imperial boasting, blah, blah. Luke was more concerned about what he muttered, not to mention the tone in his voice when he said it. What was with the sudden change there? ]

[Sorry Luke, you pissed him off. He's going to let Ren deal with Luke on his own.] Besides, you don't seem inclined to believe me.

[ Luke frowned, shooting him a suspicious look. Why did he have a feeling he was in for a massive world of headaches and pain? ]

[Hux only looked more satisfied with himself at seeing that frown. Luke Skywalker had caused him many headaches over the years but now he couldn't hide on some remote planet.]

If you're going to run and hide, I suggest you get going. Consider it me giving you a head start, though I doubt it will do you any good.

[ That frown turns into an annoyed look in less than a second. ]

If you think I'm going to run from you and whatever person you're referring to, you don't know me as well as you seem to think.

[ Oh. Irony. ]

[Hux had to cover his mouth quickly to keep from laughing but the amusement is still there. They had literally spent years trying to find where Luke was hiding and now he right here, telling Hux that he would never run and hide. He doubted that Ren would be as amused by Luke's claim which made it all the better.]

You should remind yourself of that in 30 years. But I suppose who could blame you after what happened, after you failed and lost everything.

[Oh, Luke, you made his day.]

[ Luke stared, eyes widening slightly. Lost everything...? He had mentioned he destroyed an entire system before, but what else could have gone wrong...? The surprise lasted a moment before the frown was back and he narrowed his eyes almost dangerously, realizing very much that he wanted nothing more than to wipe that smug expression off his face; wrap invisible hands around his neck and just squeeze until he couldn't smirk at him or anyone anymore. He knew that was a dangerous line of thought, and it amazed him that one, normal person could push his buttons that hard and that easily. ]

[ It was a moment before he blew out a breath, forcing his anger to go out with it, though it took visible effort. ]

I guess I'll find out then, won't I?

[ He didn't give Hux a chance to answer, cutting the connection before he gave him the chance to actually lose his temper. .]
