I'm not going to waste time asking if there is a way off this backwater planet, it doesn't seem as if anyone has managed something so basic thus far. I don't understand why the natives of this planet seem to be proud of themselves as if this planet is something special despite being so primitive.

But it seems as I am stuck here for the foreseeable future so tell me what this planet has to offer, I'm curious to know.

Humans have been capable of interstellar travel for at least a couple of thousand of years if I recall my galactic history lessons correctly. It seems as if humans here are lagging behind which is disappointing.

[Jyn isn't all that interested in ... whoever this guy is, and whatever his Deal might be, but sight of the Aurebesh on paper is what catches her eye. She studies it for a moment, eventually letting out a groan that she's decided to engage in conversation.

The planet I was on was destroyed. After the light swallowed everything, I woke up here. There's unfortunately not much in terms of what this planet has to offer, if you're comparing it to our previous galaxy. You might've acquired some powers, though.]

Which planet was that? Several planets have been destroyed in the last thirty years. [The droid he had spoken to earlier was from Scarif, what are the odds that there would be someone else from Scarif here? The last thing he needed was to encounter someone from Hosnian Prime, that was not a headache he wanted to deal with even if he wasn't ashamed of what he had done.]

[ Like Hux, Ren has now found himself in this new place. However, he's not as concerned with finding what the planet has to offer and why it's so primitive; he's more concerned with other things, things he's not willing to discuss at the moment (or ever). Hux isn't a concern at all, but he feels he should at least let his co-commander know he's here, find out if there has been any communication from Supreme Leader, find out if Hux knows why they're here.

He doesn't want to chat, doesn't want to use video - that would waste too much time. So, he quickly types a text instead. ]
