[ Not wanting anybody to see his face, Kylo switches the video off before pressing record. He takes a deep breath, not really satisfied with having to do this - he should be able to find out more about this place and find the people he is looking for without any assistance - but this place is large and this seems much more efficient. The technology is outdated, the small device similar to a datapad but much less useful and without a holo function. This must be something that pre-dates his parents, his grandparents, even. ]

This place, I'm not familiar with it. It's not where I'm supposed to be, not even in our galaxy, yet...

[ He pauses, taking a breath, giving himself a moment to gather his thoughts and center himself. There are Force users here, more than one, and he's certain of it. He'll search every city until he finds them, burn them down, kill them all until he finds what he's looking for. However, if anybody can give him any information, save him from traveling through each city until he finds them... ]

Tell me where Skywalker and Solo are. I know they're here, I can feel it.

I'm looking for them because we have unfinished business.
The nature of that business is of no concern to you.

[ He has no intention to tell Lando exactly why he's looking for them, that Han should be dead and that Luke needs to be dead. Those are just small details, right? ]

[bespin]

Well it seems to me that since you know me, and you know them, and I know them... Well, if we all know each other, their business is my business too.

[forcer]

They both have lives separate from your own, family that is not your family, friends that are not your friends. What makes you think you should know what unfinished business I have with either man just because I know both you and them?

[bespin]

Maybe it's the fact that your tone doesn't sound so friendly. I'm not so sure I want to hand them over to a total stranger without knowing what he wants them for first.

[forcer]

They're family.

[ And he leaves it at that, not going into any detail as to how either man is related to him and still refusing to say exactly what he wants them for. ]

[bespin]

[ Now that's not right. That's very not right. Lando knows Han doesn't have family, and wasn't Luke's family killed by the Empire? Sure, he's got Anakin here, but that comes with its own complications. Is this another ancestor of Luke's? If so, what would he want with Han? ]

They both are?

[forcer]

Yes, they both are. Does that surprise you?

[ Trying to piece together the timelines of all of the names and faces Kylo recognizes will be a challenge, that much is clear. Some of the people (his father, for instance) should be dead, and Kylo still doesn't know what to make of that. It's uncomfortable knowing things in this world don't coincide with events that have taken place in their own galaxy. ]

[bespin]

Considering they're not related to each other, last I checked, yes, it does.

[forcer]

They don't have to be related themselves to both be related to me by blood. Han Solo is my father.

[ He stops after the first text, but decides to just rip the bandage off because it's clear that Lando isn't going to stop with the questions until he has everything answered. It's not as if he's trying to hide who he is, not when a large portion of his family is here and the timelines aren't clear. A large majority of them already know who his parents are... or, rather, they will know.

He sends a second text a few moments later. ]

Leia Organa is my mother.

[bespin]

[ Okay. Alright. There's a lot to unpack here. So Han and Leia get together and have a kid, and that kid grows up to be this guy. That's good, that means they win some kind of peace in the coming future. Stars know Leia wouldn't want to bring a kid into this much war.

But there are still questions left unanswered. First and foremost being: ] So how does Luke fit into this?

[forcer]

I suppose you're not aware that Luke and my mother are twins, then?

[bespin]

[ ....There are no words for a revelation like that. ]

Well, now I am. Next you're going to tell me Chewie's my distant cousin.
