[The video turns on, showing Sam Winchester. Hair a bit shorter than the previous one, looking a few years younger, wearing a green, light jacket and a blue and white check shirt.]

[He looks surprised. And a little lost.]

I've got to say. I expected Hell to look a lot less metropolitan. [He holds up a hand.] I know, I know. I read the packet. Not Hell, just Florida. Though I'm pretty sure more than a few people back home would have said that there wasn't much of a difference.

[The smile he gives his own joke is wan. Yeah, he knows it's a bad one. It's what he's got for the moment.] I didn't see it in the file, but are you here, too, Dean? Not sure if I should hope for that or not, actually. But if I'm hallucinating, I'm pretty sure I'd drag him in, too.

[He pauses a moment, considering, before adding--] If this ISN'T a hallucination, I suppose I should introduce myself. Sam Winchester. Uh...pleasure to be here, I suppose.

But no, not a hallucination.

I figured less humid, at least. And I'm getting the 'not a hallucination' thing. Was just the first thing that came to mind at the time.

I guess company might be better here, as well.

But this place does sound a bit surreal, so I don't think anyone will blame you for that first guess.

[Sure, Lucifer's still here, but at least he's not in Sam's body. Which is a good start.]

It's surreal to the point of being ridiculous at time. But it's better to just go along with it.

Not a bad idea when dealing with the surreal and ridiculous. At least until you have a better idea what's going on.

[ he nods ]

And be prepared to have many questions and most of them won't be answered.

Now that's just life, as far as I've been able to tell. So that's normal enough.

Most cases I would agree, but in this one, we were kidnapped and asked to help fighting a war.

Okay. I'll admit, that part of it's new to me, too.

The kidnapped, mostly.

You were taken from your world without any saying in it and forced to remain here for who knows how long. You have to obey their rules, even if they offer you a sense of freedom, enough that you won't bitch too much.

I call it kidnapping.

I didn't say it wasn't. I said that it hadn't happened to me before.

Well, then here is your first. Enjoy it, even though it may be for a long time and it gets annoying.

Seeing as I can't say I'm exactly in a hurry to get home, I'm sort of on the side of it taking as long as it wants in my case.

But before I let that go, just a quick warning: Lucifer is here. [ he is also an asshole and he wants everyone to pay attention to the other Lucifer, so nobody will notice this Lucifer ]

[Look, Sam's still a Winchester and their middle names are 'Paranoid'. He just kinda was in shock when he arrived, that's all.]
