[The video turns on, showing Sam Winchester. Hair a bit shorter than the previous one, looking a few years younger, wearing a green, light jacket and a blue and white check shirt.]

[He looks surprised. And a little lost.]

I've got to say. I expected Hell to look a lot less metropolitan. [He holds up a hand.] I know, I know. I read the packet. Not Hell, just Florida. Though I'm pretty sure more than a few people back home would have said that there wasn't much of a difference.

[The smile he gives his own joke is wan. Yeah, he knows it's a bad one. It's what he's got for the moment.] I didn't see it in the file, but are you here, too, Dean? Not sure if I should hope for that or not, actually. But if I'm hallucinating, I'm pretty sure I'd drag him in, too.

[He pauses a moment, considering, before adding--] If this ISN'T a hallucination, I suppose I should introduce myself. Sam Winchester. Uh...pleasure to be here, I suppose.

Sartre. I've not seen the play performed, but we read some of it in one of my lit classes.

[Sam leans back as well.] Plenty of reasons. But mostly because the last thing I remember was jumping in feet first. Sort of.

And yeah, that's one of the jokes. But I have heard some people say that Florida is probably hell.

Either that or Los Angeles. Having driven in LA, I'd agree with the latter.

To the best of my knowledge, I've never really hallucinated before. But this is really not where I was expecting to be.

[Dean almost doesn't believe his eyes, but it looks like Sam's back. And then he takes a better look, notices the differences between this Sam and the one that he'd known before and some of that excitement fades to suspicion. This wasn't the Sam that had disappeared come back, so what the hell was going on here?

Even so, this could still be his brother, right? Nothing in this damn place made any sense.]

Sam... Sammy? Where are you?

[Of course it's Dean. Who else would it be?]

Uh...one of the residences. They dropped me off here when they finished talking with me. Number 32.
