[A couple days after arriving, Steve decided it was time to introduce himself. Reasons for that were varied, but intentions for this broadcast seemed to be an attempt to get in contact with anyone who might know him from his world.]
Probably good I got acquainted with these things before I came here, or this call might not have happened.
Name's Steve and I'm curious -- is there a master list on these phones of everyone here? I'm looking for someone who goes by a few names and not sure if they'd use her real name or one of them. Or can you edit that information yourself.
[Cap might be looking to see if a certain redheaded assassin is around.]
I also see you got an election going on. Maybe someone would be nice enough to fill the new guy in on the popular vote?
Appreciate the help, thanks.

[ literally all he butted in to say, for the deeply selfish reason of wanting his pretend dad to have community power for when he inevitably fucks up bad. and, erik's pretty cool.
a beat, and murphy thinks over the rest of what was said here. uuuhh. ]
And, uh, that's a no on the directory. Try Google? Pretty much every imPort shows up somewhere.
not here
Re: audio;
[It's a really good thing he can't read minds...]
I kind of figured. [Wait, back-up] There's Google here?

Welcome back Captain Rogers, there isn't a directory but I might know who you're looking for, what's the alias?

I'm sorry I'm not much help. I'm new, too, so I don't know much. But I did that to make sure a bad guy from my world isn't here so it might work for making sure someone is, too.
I hope you find your friend. Good luck! <3

Good day, Mr. Steve. I think you will find any information you want in the World Wide Web. [ He says it like a man whose never used the internet before. ] It's a wonderful invention. [ Someone has already discovered cat videos. ]

He smiles.]
You know, I completely agree with you there. I only just got acquainted recently with the internet in my world, too. A bit overwhelming, but useful.
I have a feeling she's not here. She would have said something by now.

If they're still here. People don't choose when they come or leave, so instead of negotiating a fee, I'll ask upfront: how sure are you they're here? I can't find what's gone.
Re: [Text, private]
I'm going to hold off for now. Nat's pretty good at keeping herself unseen. It's sort of what she does.

But only the government can edit that information. If you wish to do that, you probably have to contact them.

[Honestly, walking into a world during an election was not his choice. But, oh well. He's still going to vote.]
I don't think she's here anyway.

Ahem. A vote for Riptide is a vote for the people! He'll have a really unbiased view on human stuff so y'know, it'll be great!

[ As for the other questions, well. He sort of gives a helpless shrug. ]
There's a list, but I couldn't tell if everybody's on it or not. Just having a list at all is new to me.

[ Petyr draws in a breath. ]
We'll start with Jon Snow. He had the fortune of being rather close to the previous ambassador and working alongside her, so in terms of who has the most experience within the office, it would be him. He advocates bridging the divide between imPorts and natives and for those who have been satisfied with the work the previous ambassador has done in her city, he vows to continue doing it.
Next there is Dr. Otto Octavius. And while there has been some conflicting reports about the nature of his character over the network, he has brushed them aside to claim that there is timeline confusion over what has happened in his world and what will happen. He's a man in tune with science and one who advocates the advancements of such. Being that De Chima is a very scientific and technologically advanced city, someone of his caliber could be of value in the ambassadorial office.
Bruce Wayne is the wealthy CEO of Wayne Enterprises. He's involved himself in a great many charities and if you approach him to donate for a cause, he will not hesitate to do so. I know this first hand as he had given generously toward the large library I had built within Maurtia Falls. He, like the others, advocates working together. He proposed the creation of something akin to his Justice League back home -- a group of strong and powerful individuals who join together to fight off threats and protect the city.
Erik Lehnsherr is similar to Wayne in charitable acts. He was one of the founders of the Maria-Francis Foundation and has also been known to donate generously to a cause. And should you have a question, he will often be the first to respond with helpful information over the network so I imagine he would be prompt to respond to what's needed as an ambassador as well. He advocates safety and security within De Chima and already has in the works the construction of a training facility for imPorts and powered individuals.
Riptide is undoubtedly the oldest candidate who has seen the most. He's a non-human who advocates 'weird rich people being hosed down with water until they stop being weird' and more options for non-human imPorts. He represents technology and wants to push for it to be utilized for medical advancements.
Myrcella Baratheon is a young princess who can provide a unique outlook in a place full of technology. While Jon Snow worked with the previous ambassador Lucy Pevensie, Myrcella is the closest in terms of character to the former ambassador. She advocates inclusion -- uniting natives and imPorts in the protection of the city, helping those who are in need, and balance between all of the men and women (and nonhumans too, I suppose) who live within De Chima.
Sadie Doyle seems to have a great deal of experience with charities and fundraisers, but her primary platform seems to be looking out for each other and spreading love. I believe she would likely become something of a friend to her community were she elected.
Last, but certainly not least, you have Sam Merlotte. Sam is not a politician, he's not a wealthy man, and he has not led armies to battle before but for what he doesn't have, he makes up in heart. For some time now, he has run Merlotte's, a bar and grill within De Chima. And during that time, he has been able to unite imPorts and natives together for drinks and a laugh. He's served his community rather well and that is what he continues to stand for as his platform. Community. He genuinely cares for the people in De Chima, and will do what he can to stand for them. Sam ran for Nonah's election once before and lost by a single vote, so his is the underdog story of this election.
[ There. Finished. ]
I do hope that helped. It would be excellent seeing the newer arrivals participate in this election as well.
