Good evening, imPorts.

We are the Constellation. We have addressed this community once before, in an attempt to make us all aware that the government that has allowed us to be stolen, injected us with their technology without our consent, branded us like cattle, and coerced us into pledging loyalty is not our friend. They do not care for us or our well-being any more than they care for the natives that the unsavory among us choose to hurt with minimal consequence. They care only about keeping us under their thumb, keeping us placated through hero worship and shiny things so that they may find a way to weaponize us.

The evidence only compounds, bigger, and brighter, and harder to ignore with every turn around the sun. We will not stand for it. None of us should.

We want to thank the upstanding imPort that shared his information regarding Heaven Scent and their connection to DARPA and OTO, organizations that have been determined to hurt and defame our community for some time. Heaven Scent, not content to simply spread chaos, has gone one step further by stealing our DNA, either outright or under false pretenses, cloning us, using our own bodies and our own powers to sow dissent between our community and the natives, and even cause conflict among ourselves.

Unfortunately, there is more to it than that.

Native activists have been fighting Heaven Scent for some time, particularly their plastic surgery division, who have been fixing problems that are not there, taking "flawed" people and making them "better". We now know that they have been using imPort DNA to do so. This comes from a geneticist that used to work there, and was swiftly transferred to another department after her relationship with a high-ranking law enforcement official in De Chima came to light.

Where, of course, they have a separate cloning facility from the one in Richmond, a stone's throw from where we sleep.

Files and communication extracted from their computers indicate that they consider our DNA to be "remarkable, even GODLY." They have no intention of stopping their invasive and dangerous research, into our biology, or that of the metahumans, in order to create their own soldiers to sell to the highest bidder. They are not the only ones planning to do so. Only the most successful, and the most profitable.

The clones, as far as our research can tell, are perfectly normal, but subjected to technological interference similar to our own nanites. Physiologically, they are as we are, but we all suffered because of their inherently violent nature, even those of us lucky enough not to be cloned ourselves. To create life, only to use it as a weapon or a means for profit, is despicable, especially such incomplete lives with such extraordinary abilities.

We are not weapons to be used at anyone's whim. We are not reservoirs of earth shattering power to leech from to feed anyone's greed. We are not tools, not of the government or any loosely affiliated vanity projects.

I hope that the rest of you agree with us.

[ so this is the information Dooku mentioned. Things to be falling into place, and starting to make sense, at least with all the information found since February. The Russians were dangerous because of their weapons, but Kaneki finds OTO worse because of their technology and use of genetics to create more weapons.

Plus, they are obviously on US soil and the government still has not uncovered the full extent of OTO's web. As usual, that will be left for imPorts. ]

We will see if others care. [ most don't, since this is all a "temporary vacation" and many end up leaving after a couple of months. But Kaneki hopes that mentality changes after all that happened. ]

There is certainly potential, but after all the years I've been here, we never completely joined together. Though the natives and the government don't see it, we are all far too different to do it like that.

While Iwai wouldn't go so far as to say he's surprised to learn that there's an ongoing rebellion against the government here, he certainly feels a growing sense of validation as he reads through the Constellation's missive. He's only been here for a short amount of time, but in that time, he's felt a growing sense of unease whenever he let himself think too hard about the government and the inexplicable power they rule over him. He was willing to bury those worries somewhere in the back of his mind - he had more immediate concern about when he would see his son again, after all, and he typically assumes his inherent distrust towards authority comes from his years with the Hashiba, so it's easy enough for him to convince himself that he's just being paranoid when it comes to these things - but this...

Well, this has his interest. These Constellation guys sound like they're more than just talk. ]

"Godly" DNA... making flawed people "better"... the fuck, man. They're talking about us like we're holy and treating us like we're scum in the same breath. Christ, I don't want my body to be fuel for whatever fucked up shit they're gonna do next.

Look, I don't know much about all this, but you guys sound like you know what you're doing. So... good job getting this out there. Hope I can do my part.

Neither do I. To use our strengths against us, or anyone else who has been deemed an enemy, is nothing short of a personal attack. On us as individuals, and our community as a whole.

We are not gods, we are not deviants. We are simply trying to live our lives under our own control, without being threatened by those who are uncomfortable with that.

So it's clear to me that we're in immediate danger. An exposé on a high-reaching government conspiracy rarely ends well for the people, and I'm saying that without factoring in all the Clones and Supersoldiers and shit that this world gets to deal with. So I guess my first question is...

What happens if you die here? I can defend myself just fine, but I don't think I'm wrong to assume I'll see my fair share of violence before I get to go home. Rebellions always gotta get worse before they get better, I've found.

This world may be designed that way, but you choose your own purpose. You can sit down and do as you are instructed, or rise up.

Heaven Scent is a subsidiary of OTO, the Otherworldly Technologies Organization, formerly a branch of DARPA, an American research and development company. It is all just disconnected enough for the government to deny wrongdoing, though claiming ignorance, or that they knew and did nothing, is just as bad.

If you die, the nanites you were injected with on your arrival will bring you back. They will reverse any physical trauma, given enough time. Burns, dismemberment, being crushed by boulders, none of that matters. We were brought here to be weapons, and we can be put through the trauma of death a thousand times if they get what they want out of us.

So we're dealing with a group of rogue scientists who have no problem with human experimentation and experiments so dangerous the government didn't wan to do them. Ones that are quite mercenary.

This is going to be a mess. But dealing with that facility will be a start.

That appears to be the case. When they can figure out how to manipulate our DNA effectively, they can isolate the powers and apply it to other sorts of weapons.

Magic died within dragons long ago, so I cannot performed magic like I should have. If they can find a way to insert imPort magic into dragon clones, it will be a disaster.

They, as far as we know, have all been killed in the chaos they started, or disintegrated after being left to their own devices for too long.

They are not complete people. A crude imitation. If there are any more, they will share the same fate. To be rid of them is to show them mercy.

that's a miserable life, isn't it? to be created by someone who just sees you as a thing and then they throw away like you're nothing. i'd like to try to do something for them if there are any left, but they aren't really designed to be friendly, are they?

It is. We do not wish that fate on anyone, human or otherwise.

If we let this carry on, they will only create more pain, be it through the inherent abuse of their creations, or the destruction they have no choice but to spread.
