Which makes me wonder why you asked the question. Do you someone that wants to go back?

I was simply curious to know, Abigail.

Do you not find the variety of worlds from which the ImPorts come to be somewhat fascinating?

Some of them are fascinating. The ones with all the space travel, stuff like that. Some of the worlds sound even worse than mine though.

Would you go to a different world if you could?

Apart from this world, you mean?

[Well, he can't say he hasn't thought about it.]

I suppose so, if such a place appeared to suit my interests.

[What he'll never admit is that he feels the same way that about half of the people answering do - he wouldn't want to leave the people with whom he's made connections in this world. Not now, anyway. Not yet. Not Kaneki.]

Do you ever think about what kind of place would suit your interests?

I don't typically choose to spend my time fantasizing, no.

[Somewhere with seemingly unlimited books, sweaters, and people who like to leave him the fuck alone, probably.

[And Twinkies.]

Yeah. Back home, I just dreamed about having a normal life. Here, there are so many things I could daydream about.

What traits, then, do you suppose your ideal world might possess?

Freedom. Safety. An ability to travel anywhere instantly. Cute pets. Good food. Art. Music.

[And Hannibal strangely enough, but she won't type that.]

I wasn't aware that travel was something you were particularly interested in, Abigail.

[It's an interesting choice, he thinks, as far as traits of an ideal world go.]

I suppose you must find the use of the porter to be quite convenient, then.

That that allows us to travel between the Porter cities, that is.

I do. I've been to all the porter cities since I've been here.
I wish I could go to more places, anywhere in the world.

As have I and most of the other ImPorts, I would venture to guess.

Even without the use of the porter, with clearance from the government, I suppose you would be allowed to travel to most any place in this world.

Then again, I do understand that doing so would be much easier said than done.

Where do you suppose you would like to go?

I'd go to Italy and see the Norman chapel in Palermo.

What about you?

I haven't thought about it.

I, myself, have little interest in traveling. I am perfectly content to stay within the Porter cities.

Tell me more about this "Normal chapel".

[am_i_a_monster]

I think about travelling a lot. It makes me feel less trapped.

The Norman chapel is beautiful, like it's made out of art. It's full of mosaics. There's a painted wooden ceiling and painted floors. Lots of sculptures. It's Christian, but it was built by people of different faiths and cultures, so it looks really different from other chapels.

You don't like art?

I suppose that I am rather inexperienced in the matter, but I do know that I have very little interest in any religious dealings.

A lot of old art is influenced by religion though. Would you visit a gallery?

As I've said, I have little interest in things influenced by concepts as foolish as religion regardless of where I might find them.

You'll have a very limited life if you block out anything foolish.
