[His voice sounds as tired as he looks but he carefully keeps his tone neutral.]

I suppose I should introduce myself. My name is Obi-Wan Kenobi, or Ben if that’s easier.

[He has already gotten some strange looks for his exotic sounding name from the locals here in Maurtia Falls.]

Could someone explain to me what “Performance Hypnosis” is exactly?

[Its his assigned job you see and while he knows what hypnosis is, the performance part he’s not really clear on.]

Yeah, it would but if it was the truth someone should've done something.

If the truth is hidden well enough, it can be difficult to find, and usually one has to be looking for it. After all, we didn't know the truth ourselves until it was too late. The emperor is no stranger to this.

But if the Empire was built on this - [And Eli is using the 'ifs' and 'maybes' as a shield.] - how can it be fixed? [It's more rhetorical of a question. Eli knows the Empire falls in the end, but the loss of life in-between upsets him.]

That is a difficult thing to answer, especially as it is beyond my time.

The Jedi kept the peace for a thousand years before the clone wars, it's hard to see what needs to be done now that they're gone. Though I do have my hope in something, or rather, someone.
