Especially when you've known them for a long time.

A familiar conundrum to anyone who's ever wanted to do certain things with a certain person.

I'm afraid there's no one right answer. It depends on the other person, on yourself, how comfortable the two of you are.

You never know how hot the coffee is until you take a sip-- which is why you don't stick your tongue in first.
