[ The message comes out late at night that Leia doesn't expect anyone to be awake to answer. She's pulling a Han right now; the man has a terrible habit of sending these late night texts out. Looks like she's learned from the best of the best.

There's a catch, however, and it's that Leia's locked this from any immediate family and friends*. She doesn't need the extra worry. Doesn't want anyone camping out on her front step. She might have missed someone, going through the directory this late, though. ]

I've spent the last hour trying to go back through what's available. I've also tried browsing what's online. It hasn't worked out so well.

What I'm looking for are remedies. Something that works in helping someone fall asleep and stay asleep without waking every two hours.

When I say remedies, I mean the kind that come in the form of personal experience. If you've had trouble keeping a sleep schedule, please, share what works for you?

I know one or two who might get upset if I leave my house at this hour. I'm not so sure I'd go alone, either, honestly.

[burlyboy]

We-ell, it's about you, not them. They can't get that upset about you livin' your own life.

[ That being said... ]

You worried about running into trouble, or something?

[articulations]

You do have a point, and I can take care of myself, but...

[ She gives a quiet hum. ]

Maybe. Everything's still new. I don't leave De Chima as often as I should.

[burlyboy]

Then it sounds like you've got some exploring to do! And hey - if you want a running buddy, that's what I'm usually doin' in the evenings anyway. Gotta keep the moneymaker ticking!

[articulations]

You mean your heart?

[burlyboy]

The heart would be the central part of it all. [ Magnus chuckles. It's a chipper, cheerful sound, full of good humour. ] But, you know, just the whole body situation in general. I'm a pro wrestler - and when I'm not wrestling, I'm doing bodyguard work. If I get out of shape, I'm out of a job!

[articulations]

I was going to say, you must do something that keeps you positive in training your body and passing on that positivity. Is that what you do here, both of those jobs?

[burlyboy]

Oh, yeah. I'm a merc back home, but that's, uh... not super a thing here? Or a thing I'd want to do, for the guys who'd be hiring? But as long as I got a job that I can move in, I'm happy.

[articulations]

So you're a bounty hunter? What's wrong with the men here who are hiring?

[burlyboy]

Well, for one, it's illegal here. Two, deffos not a bounty hunter. I'm a mercenary. Big difference. It's not that we don't wind up killing people one way or another if we gotta, but it's more like, uhhhhh. [ He snaps his fingers. ] Like, you'd hire me to guard your wagon for safe passage if you're moving from one village to the next, or to collect some precious ore in a dangerous mine, or go into some caves full of Gerblins to nab some treasure. That kinda thing.

[ Which is to say: incidental killing! Much better! ]

[articulations]

I see. Then it's no different from my world.

It's interesting to hear about the similarities between all the different worlds we all come from. Though I can't say I know what Gerblins are.

[burlyboy]

Oh, they're just another species. They get pretty fuckin' crotchety about other people stepping on their turf, only, uh, their turf doesn't always belong to them.

[articulations]

I'm familiar with that attitude.

[ Damn Empire. ]

[burlyboy]

Yeah? You get into a tussle or two in your time, then?

[articulations]

You could say that. Though, I prefer to tussle with blasters.

[burlyboy]

That like a gun? Not a big fan, pers'nally.

[articulations]

A gun, yes. And that's alright, they aren't for everyone.

If I could learn more hand-to-hand, I might prefer that method of fighting and defense as well.

[burlyboy]

It can be more reliable in a pinch! Someone can always take your weapons, but they can't take your fists.

[ He pauses. ]

I mean, you can, but then you got another set of problems on account of becoming No-Hands McGee.
