I know what you're thinking. "Not another campaign announcement." But I promise, I won't take up too much of your time.

My name is Lando Calrissian. Some of you might know me as the owner of Ugnaught Moving Company, my imPort run business that serves all four imPort cities, with offices based in Nonah. [ Gotta get that plug in. ] Stars, some of you might know me from some holovid tales about my friends and I and the war we're fighting back home. If you've ever visited Nonah, there's a good chance you saw me on the street, out and about in the city that's been my home ever since I was ported in almost one year ago.

That's what I'm here to say today. Nonah is my city. So when I learned that it was in need of an ambassador, I decided to heed the call. I'm no politician-- though I'm sure you'll hear the same promise from some others of my fellow candidates. What I am is a businessman, and a concerned Nonite who is interested in my city's future. I aim to work to ensure Nonah remains a safe space for imPorts to make a home, and a living, promoting imPort run businesses like mine to move to Nonah and work with the native community to foster peace and understanding.

Even if I don't wind up winning, I want to make it clear to the lucky person who does that you'll be hearing from me. I want us to work together to make Nonah the best it can be.

So vote for me, Lando Calrissian, to get Nonah... [ pause for effect, with a wink to the camera ] Back in Business.

It's only a picture of his taxi, yeah—but the taxi has gotten not only a snazzy new paint job, but now there's a cloth taped to the top of the trunk that flares out to just an inch or two underneath the trunk, so as to not get caught in the exhaust. Also, two sticks duct-taped to either side of the car hold up a banner that reads, in bold letters, "VOTE FOR LANDO".

Underneath those letters is a smaller-sized but still legible scribble declaring: "he's a respectable fellow now!"

It's odd, to think that people want to represent a city they hardly know. There's something to be said for a --relative, sure-- native taking the stand.

People are often after the power and the fame of what it means to be an ambassador. They often don't care about what city they're representing, so long as they get to represent it. But you have home field advantage, so I'd say play that up.

What are some things you would change about Nonah to make it more recognizable to imPorts?
