voice; a totally normal and not suspicious request
So!!!
I know some of you are not human, and even the humans have extraordinary abilities! Ands so... I was wondering. If maybe someone's has some limbs they are willing to part with? Living, organic, non-native ones!
You see, I'm a doctor in the home dimension I came from, and work to develop pharmaceutical drugs! I'd love to do a little bit of science on imPorts to see if there is any non-nanomachine-based way to perhaps improve native abilities to heal.
[This is definitely not a thinly-veiled attempt to get his hands on non-human meat to see how it tastes and if he can even consume it.]
Doesn't need to be a limb, really. Any body part, preferably one you can easily replace.

[Also, he may be performing this as 'an act of good faith', but he was going to make a mental note of this as an IOU.]

[She'll text him asking for an address, and turn up as promptly as anybody could having to go through one of the teleporters: a rangy woman on the tall side with long, greasy brown hair and thick glasses. They're going to cut off his arm, but Hange smiles like she does this shit every day.]
Are you ready?
no subject
He may not appear the way she would expect, in a brightly colored suit with some thick-rimmed glasses in a similar shade to his clothing, Itsuki was rather clean-cut, so to speak.]
Ah yes, of course! Want to get right to it, then?
[He lead the way to the kitchen then. Best place for it, right? He did most of his butchering here, after all.]
no subject
Please let me know of any way I can assist you. Removing an arm sounds very troublesome, after all.
no subject
Mhh, I may need you to assist in breaking the bone...
[He says it casually, leaning down to open a drawer to retrieve a cutting board. He isn't going to just cut his arm off on the counter!!! With a sigh, he then removes his jacket, setting it aside and then rolling his left sleeve up.]
I think a cleaver will do the job fine, but I may need some more weight on it. I've never really cut off my own limb before... You'd be alright with that, right?
no subject
[Hange is a soldier and has seen hundreds of comrades die on the front lines, often in incredibly gruesome, bloody ways. One severed arm isn't going to throw her, especially since he's alluded to being able to regrow limbs.
She will just go opening this drawer and that one, searching for a cleaver.]
Well, it'll be a bit of a mess. If I'd known you weren't set up for amputations I'd have brought a sword.
no subject
[The cleaver would not be hard to find, a well-loved, heavy, and somewhat oversized thing. Good for cutting off human body parts! Still, it wasn't going to be a very fun experience, so...
As he puts his arm on the cutting board, pulling his sleeve up to try to avoid as much staining as possible, he also retracts the tendrils from his real body that took the place of nerves in his lower arm.]
Come then. Below the elbow, about where the radius and ulna begin to part, if you'd be so kind.
no subject
Oh? And you're ready? Would you like to tie your arm off, perhaps? [it might stem the initial blood flow... she's awfully solicitous for someone who was so eager to snip off a bit of him.]
no subject
Uh, I guess? Mmmhhh... I don't know if I have anything to tie it off with, and I'd really rather not ruin my clothing...
[He wondered for a moment if he had like. Zip-ties or something that might be long enough.]
Don't worry about it, I think. It'll be fine.
no subject
[this tweaks her sense of responsibility, but... he does know his biology best! Hange flips the cleaver around one more time and comes over to the cutting board.
There's no sense in wasting time or letting second thoughts creep in. She puts a hand on his wrist, raises the chopper, and brings it down with a mighty whack. It's a good chop. Hange is very strong. If it's possible for that kind of thing to be done, it probably took his arm off in one clean hit.]

Itsuki's fingers do not move, and in fact he doesn't seem to react at all when the cleaver connects with his arm, easily cleaving it off. It was no more durable than a human arm, after all.
There is some blood, but not nearly the cascade that someone might expect from taking off an arm. Instead, it seems to ooze lazily from both sides of the cut as Itsuki pulls the stump left over away. His fingers on his other hand tighten into a fist as a black substance replaces the red blood on the stump, not on the severed arm at all.
It covers the stump quickly, stopping the bleeding before black tentacles shoot out to the length of the missing arm, slowly twisting into the shape of the bones first, then being covered by another layer of tentacles which quickly turned into the replacement arm.]
Ah. Not too bad.
GOD sorry i took so long... i'm also gonna say she brought a bag with like... tupperware kljsdgkdsgs
What are these? You're no human...
You're all good! And yeah that works lol
Eugh... That's just my??? Body???
[Of course he's no human. Had he not mentioned that?]
Yes! I am not human. Hence why my regeneration would not work for a human. It would require removal of the human brain. And... replacing it with another organism.

Oh! You precious thing you! What are you, if you aren't human? How well you pass for one!
[... well, kinda not, once you talk to him, but flattery will get you everywhere, right?]
no subject
Er, uh... I've no name for it. [The curiosity was... worrying. He didn't much like it, and his tentacles writhed in protest to her grip. It's soft and malleable in her hand as it's squeezed, as if it had no bone or muscle mass.]
I'm the only one like me.
no subject
Well, good.]
Ohhhh... you poor, precious thing! [squish squish squish]
Have you been very lonely?
no subject
Eh, I mean. Well, yes? But not too much.
[That was a lie, he was INCREDIBLY LONELY, that was why he had plushes of his good friends Kaneki and Riptide because of how lonely he was. But he's trying not to invite you know. More of this.]
no subject
... it's only so she can wrap her arms around him and pull his little facey-wacey closer.]
You poor thing, you poor poor thing! You don't even have a name for your species? That must be so hard...
no subject
It does make talking about it difficult.........
[His words are muffled a little by his face getting grabbed but it comes out either way.]
I've never needed a name for my species before.
no subject
What a shame... I'd love [fervent] to research you, to study you thoroughly! Oh, how unique!
no subject
This is. The nightmare scenario.]
H-hah... WELL, WOULD YOU JUST LOOK AT THE TIME!!! I'VE GOT TO GET TO WORK!!!
[And then he just. Shapeshifts into a puddle before reforming and just. Quickly power-walking for the door.]
no subject
you can't do something like that and EXPECT IT TO THROW HANGE OFF THE TRAIL
She hurries after him.]
Wait! What did you do? How did you do that? Are you all tentacles? No bones at all?
no subject
Welp. He knows one place he's safe.]
Of course I have bones!
[Well he doesn't. But that's. Complicated. And he's ducking out of the door and picking up speed.]
no subject
Where are you going?! I promise not to hurt you! I'm simply a scientist!
