[ The inherent chaos of this world means Cassandra hasn't gotten enough of the research she wants to be doing done- research about her home world, or research about this place. But she's finally found a break to type this up, and she's got some ideas about what she wants to know. So she'll get to the point. ]

I've been looking into the history of this world with a colleague, and there's clearly gaps in the information we have. So I've got two questions, again.

First: apparently there's people who've been here long enough to have encountered Lachesis. If you could say what you remember about her and her abilities, that'd be great for the rest of us. For all we know, we haven't figured out some secret about her because we haven't realized something someone saw was important.

Second, for anyone: does your world have any history of Lachesis or the other Moirai? Hell, what's your mythology like in general? My world's mythology is so similar to this world's that it can't be a coincidence, but it's missing a fundamental part of it, to the point where I'm not even sure how so many of the same stories could exist. If you saw Baal make that impassioned political plea of his a few days ago, you know the basic summary. [ Basically: every 90 years twelve young people become gods. Then they're huge fuck-ups for two years and die. She's very tired of explaining it to everyone. ]

Obviously none of the rest of you seem to have the Recurrence in your worlds, but some of you seem to have the same myths. I want to know why that is.

[ She'd love it if the network could tell her why, and reduce her incredibly high stress level. But that's not going to happen, is it. ]

Cassandra Igarashi. Or Urdr, if the other gods have decided to be dramatic. [ She's actually fine with Urdr, but she's still Cassandra, after all. ]

Igarashi? You're also Japanese?

[ "Urdr" is not a Japanese god, however. It makes her all the more curious about Cassandra. ]

I'm from London, but yeah. My sum total experience with Japan itself is being teleported to Hiroshima by an pissy teenage girl and getting stranded in the middle of fuck-all there.

[ Sometimes the weirdo girl claiming to be Amaterasu gets pissed at you for bad reasons and leaves you in Hiroshima to do whatever! That's just how it is! ]

Hiroshima? That seems a strange choice.

I don't know what her point was and I'm pretty sure I don't want to. Maybe she just liked it there, who the fuck knows.

We are lucky to be very close. We do not fight as much.

Half the time being close is a precursor for worse fighting.

Perhaps it can be a team building exercise, should it ever happen.

I try not to think negatively if I can. It would be best to avoid assuming the worst.

I'd say we could probably use that around here, but trust me- you might want to assume the worst. Considering it happens once a month or so.

I've... heard things like that happen often here.

Maybe you haven't gotten to that part in the notes yet. [ She doesn't realize that it could be interpreted as dismissive. The notes are dense. ] We get some shit every few weeks or so. Probably with some hugely traumatic fuck-ups a few times a year.

Some of the people from my world have been here for over a year, and I'm still discovering the bizarre shit they've been deep in.

There's no way at all to prevent these from happening?

I'm sure there's ways some of them could have been stopped. Dealing with a previous disaster differently or whatever. But this place is too goddamn cryptic for any of us to figure that out.
