[ The inherent chaos of this world means Cassandra hasn't gotten enough of the research she wants to be doing done- research about her home world, or research about this place. But she's finally found a break to type this up, and she's got some ideas about what she wants to know. So she'll get to the point. ]

I've been looking into the history of this world with a colleague, and there's clearly gaps in the information we have. So I've got two questions, again.

First: apparently there's people who've been here long enough to have encountered Lachesis. If you could say what you remember about her and her abilities, that'd be great for the rest of us. For all we know, we haven't figured out some secret about her because we haven't realized something someone saw was important.

Second, for anyone: does your world have any history of Lachesis or the other Moirai? Hell, what's your mythology like in general? My world's mythology is so similar to this world's that it can't be a coincidence, but it's missing a fundamental part of it, to the point where I'm not even sure how so many of the same stories could exist. If you saw Baal make that impassioned political plea of his a few days ago, you know the basic summary. [ Basically: every 90 years twelve young people become gods. Then they're huge fuck-ups for two years and die. She's very tired of explaining it to everyone. ]

Obviously none of the rest of you seem to have the Recurrence in your worlds, but some of you seem to have the same myths. I want to know why that is.

[ She'd love it if the network could tell her why, and reduce her incredibly high stress level. But that's not going to happen, is it. ]

You're the second person to tell me something like that. So what, do the gods stay hidden somehow? Or are the stories metaphorical?

Where I'm from, mythology is real. We don't have the Recurrence but gods and goddesses do exist. Or at least the Greek ones do. They just live separately from us humans is all. It's weird, but it works. I have a couple theories on why these stories are the same from place to place but that's just a theory.

More importantly, though, were you here in December? That's a pretty big piece of the Lachesis puzzle. And that piece of the puzzles basically says: don't try to talk to her if she doesn't want to talk to you.

[ People really do seem to be hung up on December. Sometimes it feels like she can't question anything without people discussing it. ] I've only been here for two months, but I know what happened. I've seen the summaries. Obviously I'm not going to talk to her without knowing we won't get fucked over, but that doesn't mean I can't try to figure out what's going on around here.

Greek gods only is...odd, but I'll take your word for it. What's your theory?

Considering how much she seems to enjoy being mysterious while she fucks with us? Anything. And all I want to know is why the hell we're here and what she wants with us. I don't think that's that suspicious, is it?

Like I told somebody else, all I want to know is anything that most people here might not have heard that could help us. The entire problem is that none of us know what specifics we should be looking for in the first goddamn place.

I am not lucky enough to have heard about Lachesis in anything but stories, but I would be happy to share some of the history of my worlds' Gods if you like. It appears to be unique to my world, as far as I have been able to tell.
None of the myths I've heard here are familiar at all.

You're an exception to the rule, then. Mythology is weirdly fucking consistent between worlds, from what I can tell. It just tends to show up in different ways. [ That's, uh, an understatement. ]

If you don't mind, though, it'd be interesting to hear. Are any of them gods of fate? That could be worthwhile.

i don't think anyone would be able to meet the moirai without extreme circumstances. through all my traveling through the underworld,
they never revealed themselves to me.

I'm assuming they keep to themselves, then. If the gods are as literal as they sound in your world, I guess I know why. Are the rest of them really so accessible in comparison, though?

My world has little in common with the mythologies I see here. We have no pantheons, well, aside perhaps from those fabricated by cults to lure those who hunger to believe in something. I'd never heard of Lachesis before I came here.

We do, however, have some mythological beings in common, such as unicorns, and animals exist here that were considered fictional beings at home. Lions, for example.

I didn't know that there was a Lachesis here, but I have called her forth back home for fighting along with her two sisters. She had wind spells, but I don't think the one here would be exactly the same.

Myths in my world exists because we believe in them, making the gods real. Some of the gods try to understand what humanity want, be it good or bad...others just want to destroy it because they can. My team and I worked to stop two different beings for such two very different reasons; Izanami thought she was fulfilling humanity's will and Hinokagutsuchi just wanted to destroy the world and humanity.

Do you know these other people who've been talking about summoning gods? Because the way you all do it sounds pretty similar.

Neither of those situations seem particularly out-of-character for those deities. It's extreme, but it fits their archetypes. [ Although neither are common in Pantheons, so she's going off of what she remembers... ] What do you mean by your "team?" Are you some sort of crew of god-summoners who go around destroying other gods?

You absolutely need to explain the World War II thing, though. Especially considering that still happened in every world without actual gods messing around during it.

[ The gods of the 1900s in Cass' world were only in the 20s, so she's assuming they weren't involved. Probably? ]

I come from a very wide galaxy - I'm sure you've seen some of us around and speaking of it.

But I can say, what I've seen of mythology here is different mostly only in the names and details from the gods and beliefs of worlds I've seen back in my own galaxy. Perhaps some things carry across great distances? Even different universes?

I'm unfamiliar with the Moirai themselves, though.

Yeah, I've noticed. A lot of deep-space warfare with bizarre moral ethics, right? [ Cass has noticed a lot of people from deep space, but isn't enough of a nerd to realize that they're all from that world, although she knows people from it are here. ]

But- I hadn't heard that most of the mythology structured similarly. That's...strange. Do you at least have any sort of Fate goddesses? Or triplicate gods?
