Hey.

My name is Cassandra Anderson, and I'm going to be starting to provide a service through Dr. Chilton's hospital for anyone interested. I'm a trained psychic. I can read minds, and the Porter gave me the ability to heal mental trauma. In a few weeks I'll be ready to take on people who would like to try that out as part of their treatment.

I'm not a therapist, but I can promise I won't share with anyone what I see, and I won't be shocked.

Hello, Ms. Anderson. I have a few questions for you, if I may. You mentioned being a trained psychic. What exactly does that entail? Do you choose to access someone's mind? Or is it an ability that is 'always on' so to speak?

It's both. It's always on, but it's like another sense. You can hear all the time, but you're not always listening. Peoples' thoughts can be anything from a whisper to a shout. It depends on how loud they are how likely I am to pick it up.

No, it doesn't erase memories. It just makes it feel like... it happened a long time ago, I think. It's hard to explain. Something that happened to you but is a little less... raw.

Yes, no, and yes. I have to read their mind. I'd feel more comfortable if someone was at least evaluated first before seeing me, but it's not required.

It's hard to explain in words, but essentially, I would go in your head and help guide you to... [ a short hesitation ] places that feel like wounds to me. You'd have to revisit whatever it was as I healed it, but afterward, it's like... it took place a long time ago. You don't forget it, it's just further away.
