[It- doesn't exactly seem like the best time to be recording this- and not because of what's going lately around er- ya know, events and that... just-

well, because of Gamagori's current- situation.]

[And by that I mean he appears to be half naked, and squatting under a rather huge bar on what appears to be a weight lifting machine. Sitting in that squatted position and flexed out, the weight he's still lifting appears to be actively burdening his upper body. Though he's holding it up rather well, despite how sweaty he is, and despite the um- myriad of wounds he's sporting. Though anyone that was in the Summer Games with him would know about those. He took some heavy damage during it, countless blades, bites, and bombs have went after this man and most of the time he just stood and took it to make sure no one behind him got hit. So yeah- despite all those wounds, bloody and broken, most wrapped up, but some missing their bandaging, he's holding up the weight rather well.]

[The recording seems like it might be a more- casual one, how he finally looks to the camera, a large frown on his face, only to suddenly-]

GOOD AFTERNOON iMPORTS! RECENTLY TRANSPORTED AND THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN OCCUPYING THIS WORLD FOR SOME TIME NOW! I am Gamagori Ira. Registered imPort and CAPE CANAVERAL BOOT CAMP INSTRUCTOR!

[Honestly, did any of you who know him expect any different? Yells with such deep vigor even while currently weight training. Hey- he has to keep his image, right?]

[But after that he'll lower his volume and close his eyes, brows furrowed, thoughtful for a moment.]

First- let me congratulate all those who successfully made it through the previous battle we've fought. I was proud to stand beside you all.

And then- I just wanted to say something aside from that, it came to me, this is unoffical, so feel free to dismiss it now if you are busy. I felt it good advice, and I will share it with you! If you will listen. [Eyes open again, intent.]

Many of the things that happen here we seem to be unprepared for. Be it the setting, be it our prior experiences or lack of them! We must start to be ready for anything, any and all this place throws at us, no matter what direction and who directly it shall come from! It is important to be as water- to roll and move with what influences us, and to crash and swallow when it comes time!

But even then, even without being prepared, with being so, we will sustain many wounds, scars- but you must remember to wear them with pride! Never consider a mark a badge of failure! BUT EVEN THEN REMEMBER, your body is to be RESPECTED. [A hmph, looking intensely to the camera.]

So be good to it, and do not feel shame in getting your wounds tended to, especially if they continue to pain you through time! NURSE YOUR WOUNDS, ANY AND ALL, THOSE FROM FRIEND AND FOE ALIKE! We must rely on eachother. For here, we are all we have, here we are connected, and even if your families are brought here to join us, many of us still can live as a family, and help support eachother!!!

[Silences after that, taking a breath. And finally he'll push up on those weights and hook them back into place behind him, sitting up a little before leaning forward and resting an elbow on his knee.]

Hm? What do you mean, have I said otherwise?

This whole announcement sounds like you're doing your job. I didn't know you switched it off.

This isn't part of my job necessarily. I am merely concerned for the well being of others. Especially those I may be side by side with in battle sooner or later. It is crucial to be in your best shape when the time comes!

It is, but do you think that any battle we enter will be one where we're even allowed to be in the best shape? So far, this world likes to put us at a disadvantage.

I'm not sure it has anything to do with 'allowance'. We don't always have control over what happens, the same can be said for those who brought us here, they are just as much in a predicament themselves. But the more of us prepared at one time, the better.

I'm personally trying to prepare myself, but the situations themselves have put us at a disadvantage. Being kidnapped ... even with a scenario cooked up, there's little chance we could have countered that effectively. The same with the paintball. I have thoughts of trying to make what we can better, but I'm still not sure we'll ever really be prepared.

Your thoughts then! Voice them!

Instead of worrying about lines between registered and unregistered, it'd be better if we organized ourselves between "willing to involve themselves in ensuring we don't screw with this world and ourselves" and "those who consider themselves unable to involve themselves." But even I don't think it's as simple as that. We mess with this world a lot by being here, and I think we need to make a stand to make it clear that while we stand for ourselves and the people of this nation who can be caught in the crossfire, we don't stand for the government.

But I don't trust the government, I just have to use their help.

It's important to remember that the government is still very much in need of assistance. Enough so to partake in a gamble like this, bringing to their home so many that they can even pick and choose from to find actual loyal soldiers. It doesn't make them trustworthy, but you must remember they are doing this out of desperation! Hindering themselves as well as us, unknowing of the types of individuals they are bringing here and what problems we may give them!

Though, on your other marks- [A pause. He agrees with him, for the most part. Separating those who wish to help and those who do not. There are still some who did not register that desire to help after all, and there are those uninterested in helping who agreed to register. Though once that organization is done it leaves it open ended.]

I think it's safe to say those who are helping here, and not necessarily doing it for the government's sake though. But the idea of organizing a separate group within the imPorts who share these values sounds like a useful endeavor!

Are you assuming that they need our assistance because they're taking a gamble? Or is it because of something else? We don't know for sure that anything is out of desperation.

[He's personally not someone who's loudly anti-government, but the more he learns about things back home, the more his view is unstable. He doesn't like seeing the parallels between the government he knows back home and this one, but he's trying to keep his head down ... and more importantly: help people.]

I'm already starting to put that group together, but we're gonna need more people and resources. And maybe a loud instructor.

No, I'm saying that it's possible their reaching out to us really does stem from desperation. They're choosing to openly bring people from other worlds and situations into their country! That sacrifice in the unknown shows some dedication to their cause that shouldn't be dismissed due to our own feelings of inconvenience!

Hm? [Loud instructor, you don't say. Interest rising even higher.] How many have you gathered?

Maybe. But I haven't seen anything so far that points to them really reaching out to us. But I come from a world where everyone's carefully herded around so we don't learn the truth about the government. The more I find out about that, the more I'm uneasy about this world.

[It's a big thing to proclaim in public, but he doesn't think it'll matter much, not in the big picture.]

And not too many so far, but we're still working on it. We didn't get along very well in our "recruitment drive," so it might've left a bad impression.

The fact that we have been brought here at all shows they are reaching out! Note the desperation! Why endanger your people, your country, by bringing in more potential threats unless you are that in need of the soldiers and the chance that one of these 'imPorts' may assist!

Hm- yes, we haven't learned much of any 'truths' either, but the could possibly be to save their own skin. While we cannot trust them yet, they cannot trust us! Giving us secrets could only mean their enemies could easily learn more of their plans. What reason would we have not to speak if we ourselves have no claimed true loyalty yet?!

So you are lacking proper organization and representation. Do you have anyone in charge of appearances and recruitment?

[He's not sure if they're really brought in for that reason, but Jean's understanding of this situation is bogged down by his ability to understand modern conveniences, so he just decides to drop it. It's better than arguing something he doesn't know for the hell of it. Better to spend that arguing breath somewhere else.

But when it comes to truths, he has enough opinions.]

I come from a world where the government has created a world that's about keeping secrets from people. The longer I'm here, the more I see similarities. It's not easy to deal with. I want to protect people, and not die because someone had to keep a secret to keep things "safe." I haven't seen anything like that where secrets make things better in the long run.

I've been trying to loosely recruit. My partner doesn't believe in putting someone in charge, and instead believes we should work in tandem and as an organization. No tiering, but this kind of thing is limited our progression. [In his opinion.]

[Gamagori will let it die. He himself understands it perfectly. They are willing to justify the bringing in of possible people just to help themselves. It's like getting a dangerous animal, knowing it could possibly hurt you, possibly could rip your face off, but- it will also do well to help you against other people that could possibly wrong you. It's- just all about training the dog, right? All about training these imports they decided to risk bringing in. But he's made his point, there is not need to further push it if this man doesn't understand he will come to do so in time.]

Secrets are a part of every world, your's is no different from that! In a time of need, myself and others put on the image of aggressive dictators, but only to properly get to a secret goal that would be put to light in the future. There are things here they don't wish us to know. Yes! Perhaps all they tell us is only to keep the truth hidden, telling us we are to be their heroes! But we have yet to learn what lies in the darkness, and until then we must do what we will with what is shown to us. That is what they wish of us! Trust! Whether they deserve it, or whether we choose to have our own opinions on what is going on behind their words, is our own decision. But one side must make the leap, I will continue serving as far as I am able, and will judge when there must be a change in how we deal with this place.

Tiers are not necessary in all groups, but responsibilities still must be put for on those willing and able to take them. A man to recruit, a man to organize, a man to plan, to train, to speak- they do not make anyone better but all are parts of something bigger!

How do you manage to keep such an optimistic outlook even while pointing out the negatives as if they're no big deal?

And I think that's not a bad idea, but I'm used to squads working with some kind of leadership.

You must hope for the best outcome, but be observant and understanding enough to expect the worst.
