None. The dead should be respected for their sacrifice, hoping they'll come back takes focus away from doing what they'd want you to do.

And some deaths are unjust. Do you not think those should be given another chance to be among the living?

I have calculated the probability. Those from your era are far more likely to be selected, though individuals outside of certain key relational groups are under-represented.

My own epoch appears not to be favored by the Porter. This is fortunate.

I'd be willing to bet almost everyone here experiences that hope at some point or another.

Personally, I try not to spend much time dwelling on things like that. It won't affect whether it happens or not, after all. Either it will, or - more likely - it won't.
