This place is different but not wholly unpleasant.

But I think my thing is... in the year or so that I've been here, I've lost a few friends, and they've come back, only to disappear a few months later. After a while it just feels like... it's unfair to us, but also to them to keep pulling them back to this place and then letting them go.
One in particular has been here before, twice now. And it was difficult. I don't really think he found peace in it, or was able to enjoy all of the new experiences offered.
