If you're the cause of someone's death, can you ever be forgiven?

[Asking for a friend. Right. ~~Also "causing someone's death" obviously means murder.~~]

I'm not sure it's possible. Maybe that's the way it should be. There has be some justice in the universe.

Does peace really come, when something terrible is involved? In my experience, no matter the justification, it means very little.

Peace may come away from me, within the Force. If I can guide them...maybe...that would be useful.

Most don't have similar realizations and I'm several decades ahead of myself.

I speak of the Force; it's the energy and power that surrounds all things. The Light Side creates and protects while the Dark Side destroys or at least causes chaos. I suppose there is a grey area in-between the two sides and maybe that's where we all exist, but we can choose to stand closer to the Light or the Dark.

It's still making it rather obvious which is "good" and "bad", doesn't it?

I assume you were closer to the dark? What could cause such an enlightened individual to go so far?

I was drawn closer to the Dark over time.

Desperation, mostly. Fear. I was tired of having my hands tied and accepting tragedies I felt I could stop or change.

I believe...I understand that motivation. I've experienced such things too. But you...regret what you have done, in the end? You don't see it as an ends to justify the means?

What I wanted...my actions accomplished the opposite. Obviously I went about it wrong. Maybe I shouldn't have interfered at all, but that's hard not to do when you feel like you can.

No, I understand. When there is something you want...sometimes you'll do anything to achieve that goal. Particularly if you are otherwise powerless to change it.
