So, uh... I got kind of a weird question. Bear with me here. Do any of you find that you get memory problems sometimes? I'm not talking, like, when you get ported out and get ported back in and everything just goes poof!, or forgetting where you put down your keys or what have you. More like - there's something important you feel like you're forgetting about.

[ Magnus scratches at his chin. ]

'Cause I swear to god, there's always something I should be doing, but then a second later, it just... [ He gestures vaguely at the camera. ] Shit from when I was in a kid too. It never used to bug me, but this is getting old. So, uh, if any of you know how to fix it or wanna tell me I'm not just crazy, big ups! Burnsides out.

Is that something you can do? Read people's auras?

Er, well--n-not like...I mean...[hff.] It's more like--the magic? I'm...fairly certain I'd detect the magic. I'm a sorceress, it's in my blood. So.

Oh. But that's something you'd see right away? You wouldn't need to concentrate and use up a spell slot?

[adamantlyardent]

I meannnn-- [beat.]

Use up a what?

[burlyboy]

A spell slot! You know, you can only use magic so many times in a day, unless it's a cantrip. Right?

[adamantlyardent]

I...I mean, yes, I only have so much stamina for...um. I've never heard it phrased like that before, though...

[burlyboy]

Oh. I thought that's how everyone defined it. I'm no magic user, but that's how my friends figured it out. It makes classifying everything a lot simpler when you think of it that way.

[adamantlyardent]

Per...haps... [it's something to investigate anyway. and, frankly, it seems faintly familiar in a way that she can't quite figure out? hm.]

In...in any case, I doubt your concern is a sign of madness; you seem too sharp and aware of it to be so, right?

[burlyboy]

Yeah! That's what I'm saying! It's not, like, a uniform thing. It's just a thing.

[adamantlyardent]

It may be the sort of thing that resolves itself once you've found yourself placed before the very thing that's slipped from your mind. Like walking into a room and suddenly realizing an intention from well before?

[burlyboy]

Not exactly. It's more... when I'm placed in front of it, it slips away. So the opposite of that.

[adamantlyardent]

I-I'm sorry. I can't say I know much about something like that...beyond what I guessed, I mean.

[burlyboy]

Not your fault. Hell, it's further than where I got. That's why I went for broke and decided to ask everyone. Someone's gotta be able to get to the bottom of this.
