[ Some might remember the last time they saw Sabrina she was living in the empty Spellman Mortuary, but the view on the screen today reveals she's returned to her assigned government housing in Maurtia Falls #001. Not that she had wanted to leave her "home", but with it disappearing altogether on her there was very little choice in the matter.

Her expression is contemplative, a low hum can be heard before she speaks. ]

For those of you that come from worlds where you were born with magic— uh, or I guess were given magic powers here...? [ She shakes her head, staring off to the side as her train of thought is derailed. ] Sorry, what I just want to ask is if there's anyone who would be willing to help me hone my own magic?

[ She's had quite a bit to think about since the Diomuhr fiasco. Sorry for nearly getting some people killed. ]

I'm wondering if there's anyone whose magic is primarily based on incantations and is adept at conjurations, too. Since my arrival I've learned that there are so many kinds of magic, something I honestly didn't know much about back home. I'm hoping I could practice alongside someone whose magic is similar to mine.

[ While Sabrina's opened up more about her witch powers, she's never made a public announcement like this before. It's almost surreal. ]

So if there are other witches, that would be helpful, but it doesn't necessarily have to be a witch. Seems like magic comes in all shapes and forms across the universes and still operates similarly in some places.

Harry Potter is fiction, Cassidy.

No, we don't use wands or brooms. And we don't wear pointy hats.

Yeah, well, lotsa things are fiction in my world, includin' witches. But you don't see me calling you fiction. You gonna tell me vampires are fiction next, eh?

[ PAUSE. ]

... no, vampires I'm certain are real.

Harry Potter is sort of an exaggeration of witches. [ Okay, well. ] They sort of got the school part right?

[crassidy]

Ooh, do you go to witch school?! Are there moving stairs? Talking pictures?

[melodramagic]

Yes, I do.

But uh, no moving stairs or talking pictures.

[crassidy]

Is there a potions class?

[melodramagic]

We do learn how to brew potions, but it's not... quite like Snape's classes.

[crassidy]

what can your potions do? Are they like medicines or shite that can transform you into other folk?

[melodramagic]

It depends on the ingredients and what you need them for. There are healing potions, then truth potions, potions to make you averse to things like alcohol...

[crassidy]

Oh holy shite, never give me that last one. I'd probably die, like.

[melodramagic]

I think you'd lead a better quality of life, honestly.

[crassidy]

It's medicinal. Makes me life better. Get back to me on that idea when you've lived over a century and all your friends and family are dead, yeah?

[melodramagic]

[ Guilt! ]

I'm sorry, Cassidy. I didn't even think about that. It can't be easy.

[crassidy]

[Missions successful. Except now he feels guilt for making her feel guilt.]

Ah, I'm just pulling yer leg, love. Probably be better without it, but hey, I gotta make use of this fast healing some way, eh? Might as well be by constantly clearing out me liver, I s'pose.

[ But, he has been a vampire for a while, hasn't he? So he's seen friends and family pass on at some point, she thinks. It has her wondering if that will ever be the case for her and her own friends.

But that's only if she signs the Book of the Beast. ]

It doesn't bother you at all, even with healing?

[She should totally sign, then she can join the oold as balls club and be sad about mortals always dying.]

Nah, never been a bother, why would it?

I really don't know how anyone can drink that much. I think I would get sick.

Drink a bottle a day for over a century and you'll get there. Throw in a few horse tranqs as a light snack, heh. Point is, love, do anything enough times and you'll probably get used to it.

[melodramagic]

Don't you want to do other things? If you're immortal, then you must be able to do whatever you want.

[crassidy]

I'm not really the ambitious sort, I'll be honest with yeh. All this learning new stuff sounds like a lotta hard work to me.

[melodramagic]

But then... what do you want out of your life?

Uh. I dunno, I probably got enough. Not really thought about it. Do y'have to want something?
