Soooooooooooooooo. I feel like a lot of times when we post on here it's something serious, or someone left, someone arrived, you get it. And honestly, I've got no problem with that cause it makes sense! But how about some more icebreakers?

FanPort got me thinking cause obviously all the locals are crazy about superheroes, and even non-superheroes, but what about you guys? If you come from a world with superheroes like me, you've got a pretty good head start on everyone else. Still, everyone's probably got some kind of hero, right?

And now I'm sure you're wondering, "Stephanie, who is your favorite superhero?"

Well, drumroll please...

[The drumroll is so she can think of a good answer. It's not working.]

Uh. I had a poster of Superboy when I was in high school. Wait, is Superboy here? I just realized how weird this could potentially get...

How would you define a "superhero"?

I could write a thesis paper about that question, so let's keep it simple. Someone who saves people and wears a costume?

[ Dryly: ] Is the costume what makes it distinct from simply calling one a hero?

Would a mask count?

I was trying to think of something most superheroes have because there's a ton of them? Some have powers, some have gadgets... But almost all of them have costumes! Which could include a mask, yeah.

In that case, there was one I was fond of. He had one of those funny nicknames some of them have too - they called him the Masked Killer. Or sometimes the Masked Felon.

Uh-huh. I think you might've forgotten about the hero part of the equation.

He saved an Empress. And quite a few others along the way. That was what you specified, that they must save people.
