Hello, imPorts. Today, I'm here to talk to you about the importance of being a hero.

It's right there, isn't it?

ImPort. Im-port-ance!

[He claps his hands together to punctuate the word and grins.]

You are important, here, to this world as one of its heroes. Like The Avengers or The Justice League, every one of you has or was given some special skills to make you unique and to make you a hero.

It doesn't matter if you don't believe it now. You will. You were brought here for a purpose and you must all act accordingly. It doesn't matter what you did in your past. What counts is the here and the now and moving forward!

Maybe you're already making great strides to help. Maybe you're new and lost. Either way, you are important and a hero and always keep that in mind. With evey action. With every interview. You are the public face of imPorts; all of you!

Be the best hero that you can be and together we can prevail. We will overcome any threat. Break through any boundary. Foil any nefarious scheme. Believe in yourself, and believe in the people around you.

We will win this fight; whatever fight comes our way. Maybe through negotiations. Maybe through physical force. No matter what your power or skillset, you can use it to your best advantage. Your best power is right up here.

[He taps the side of his head.]

Your mind. Your will. Your belief in yourself and in others.

Keep hold of that and you will succeed.

[He looks pleased, pausing a moment before adding.]

You have to do this every day?

[ Sounds like torture. ]

Not every day and usually in public, not on the network.

But I thought I'd mix it up a little.

Think of it as a free bonus, should you ever stop by for my official speeches. I talk on a variety of subjects but this was the most relevant to the people here.

Is this something that you are used to? You speak very well.

[ Even if the content is ridiculous. ]

What did you do in your home world?

Public speaking wasn't my job back home but I can deal with talking to a group.

I work with technology, developing new ideas.

In between being a hero.

Are these sorts of heroics common in your world, then?

[mysterioisthetruth]

There are some superheroes. They formed a group known as The Avengers. I worked with them briefly.

Why did you leave them?

[mysterioisthetruth]

We had a difference of opinion. However, I would work with them again since some of them are here.

[lempereur]

I see. Did they arrive recently? I am familiar with the Justice League, but I haven't heard of them.

[ And his experience with superhero teams is that, with individual exceptions, they're obnoxious. ]

One was already here and I'm not sure for how long as I haven't yet had a chance to speak with him. That would be Thor.

One left just before I arrived but I believe he was here for years. Tony Stark? You might have heard of him.

Another came in a couple of days after me and he was the one I worked mostly closely with - he's known as Spider-Man.

I am aware of Tony Stark, but I can't say I ever met him.

[ And in his world, Thor looks like this. ]

Well, if you intend to carry on with the heroism here, I can assure you that you'll never be bored.

That's probably for the best. I heard he was not a very nice person here.

I do and I will. I have a lot to give this world.
