Most follow similar rules. Technology and magic are two sides of a coin. Other versions are psychic abilities and mutations.

But in the end, it all comes down to a similar vein. Power and manipulation of reality, usually needing energy to be performed, and often making the wielder tired to do it.

That... I don't think that happens to me. Mine is more about transference of that energy.

My power involves healing others by taking that injury away from them but then it appears on my body instead, just not quite as bad. Like half the damage.

That does seem to happen to a lot of people. Even those of us who had powers before end up with alterations, usually.

Some like it more or less than others. But, its a strange new world for everyone.
