Her inflection runs a little dry, events of the past couple of days and trying to get her bearings weighing upon her shoulders. To arrive in a world that's officially on a Doomsday Clock isn't the welcome party she wanted. ]

I'm trying to get this straight: one of the Moirai is on her way to potentially devour this world, but in the meantime one of her other sisters is going to keep bringing us in and the soldiers on base are kind of raising their arms up in defeat over it. That's thrilling.

Yeah. We usually do when the world is in crisis. Work together, I mean.

And the plan involves making sure all three Fates make it here so Atropos doesn't just start cutting short lives willy-nilly.

Atropos wouldn't defy her sisters, would she? Do we have evidence Atropos is a rogue Fate?

Apparently she destroyed a previous Earth that some of the imPorts were from originally. But I'm no strategist. I'm just a guy who runs really fast.

The Moirai typically don't intervene beyond spinning, measuring and cutting the thread of life. If Atropos is coming to cut the thread, then someone must have seriously provoked her.

They're not necessarily vengeful, but most people know not to piss the Fates off.

I really don't know, and right now, what matters is surviving the next week or so. We can debate how anyone with that kind of stupid survived long enough to piss off the lady with the scary shears after we save the world for a little while longer.

If they summoned her once, they can do it again.

[ She knows they have to prioritize, but Donna is concerned this could be a repeat attempt. ]

Maybe. But if she's already local, what good will another summoning do? It's hardly like the old gods really left. They just kinda stopped being so obvious.

And yeah, that seems like the general shape of things. I know the other two are going to a need a lot of imPorts using their powers in a certain location to help open the way, but the exact situation...seems to involve compartmentalized information.
