Sometimes just yelling into the void does it. I can't imagine this juicy-ass burger will hurt, either.

[ He still can't fight like he used to, no matter how much training he does, even forgetting how to use weapons completely. But Poe... lost a lot more.

Honestly, he doesn't even know what happened to Archie in there. ]

[ He knows, loosely, that the sisters were tied to the technology in some way. No idea how or what it means, but considering their power, he's not very surprised. ]

[he makes a face.]

I guess I don't like the idea of everyone goin' through what they went through and nothin' changing other than the world not ending. Which is a huge thing, don't get me wrong.

[ Going through all of that just to keep living is a pretty big reason to Finn. But he also knows where Archie's coming from. ]

Finn buries his fingers in the sand, making holes and filling them in again. ] We'll all find out what will happen eventually. What we did wasn't for nothing, though. It can't be.

Guess I'm just bein' selfish. Or maybe the next thing we gotta do is find all the shitty timelines and clean 'em up. I wouldn't mind that, actually.

[he puffs out a breath, leaning on finn's shoulder.]

[ He leans back with a frown, not liking the conversation. It's the most constructive one he's had in months, though, just on topics he's been avoiding. ]
