The Porter shut down, and with it everyone's nanites shut down as well. This doesn't sound like much of an issue, but considering that all of our quirks are made possible by the nanites, and the fact that they heal our bodies as well... Many people ended up in the hospital, with old injuries opening up again. Many others became very sick.

[What kind of bullshit is this? If nanites can mend injuries, why can't they permanently heal them? But if the Porter shut down, All Might...]
