[His free hand, cupping his chin, twitches, tense and restless. Blowing up his newly assigned workplace would certainly help soothe his anger, but it's probably illegal. Shame. As disgruntled as the teen appears, Katsuki didn't come on the network to complain. He scoffs, takes a breath, and:]

OKAY, LISTEN UP!!!

[He slams his hand down on the table. And if he accidentally singes the table, well. It was an ugly table to begin with.]

[Katsuki falls back, landing on his feet. But when he sees how upset Beck looks, he grins.]

Yeah yeah, keep whinin' because I ruined your fishbowl.

[Now that he sees Beck's face, he's going to aim for that as he becomes airborne again and throws a fist at his jaw.]

[As he gets closer, Beck's entire figure is cloaked in green smoke, making it harder to be seen. Still, Katsuki manages to clip the side of his jaw as Beck tries to dodge. The smoke billows thicker around them. It doesn't smell like anything but it does restrict all view and gives Beck a chance to pull away.]

[Katsuki pulls his bandana down as a sort of half-assed, makeshift face-mask anyway, just in case the gas can knock people out and Beck happens to be immune to it. That doesn't mean he wants to stay in it longer than he has to. He blasts up, and as he does he uses stronger explosions to start engulfing the smoke cloud and if he's lucky, maybe singe Beck.]

[Luckily this smoke isn't toxic. It's more for distractions. He's also gone up and away from the cloud so he watches from afar as Katsuki attacks the cloud. He rubs his jaw, wincing, tries to put the helmet back on but it's damaged and glitchy now and so he leaves it. Irritated, he then flies toward Katsuki, a streak of pluming green smoke and targeting him again with his own bolts of energy.]

[hot_handed]

[One of the bolts grazes his shoulder, nearly throwing him out of the air. He manages to catch himself and starts circling Beck, trying to build up enough oxygen to target him and unleash an attack with the power of a missile, but it takes time and potentially leaves him open.]

Had enough yet?

[He calls out as he passes by, building up a crackle of green energy around himself. He's paused in his own attacks though.]

[hot_handed]

[He ignores him as he builds up speed, faster and faster until he's clouded by his own ash and smoke, and attempts finishing it off on Beck. It's his most powerful move.]

[Beck attempts to form a defensive bubble around himself and it absorbs some of the impact but the attack is enough to knock him down to the earth and he hits the ground hard.]

[hot_handed]

[Katsuki lands on top of him and holds up a fist.]

You done yet, hero?

[mysterioisthetruth]

[He has some resilience but that still hurt. He winces and looks up, muttering.]

Fine, fine. Stop. You win.

[hot_handed]

...HUH?! YOU SERIOUS?!

I barely got to see you fight. [He keeps grumbling as he stands up and rolls his shoulder.]

[He raises eyebrows as he gets back up to his feet.]

What do you think I was doing?

Dunno, kind of hard to tell with all that smoke.

Guess you ain't a hero after all. Giving up just because you got a little dirt on your suit.

[He fussily brushes at his cape then frowns as he picks up the end, noting the singed damage.]

This suit needs to be properly maintained...

[He sighs heavily.]

I can draw energy from the elements for attack or for defence.

[Katsuki screams at the sky.]

[It's a generic answer but honestly, he's still not certain what or how his power is created. It came through the Porter.]

It combats the elements and it is the elements.

[He straightens up.]

I didn't want to hurt you...

[Implying he was holding back but there's also a bit of defensiveness there. He had tried - but he wasn't used to proper, real fights. He preferred his opponent to be fake and orchestrated by himself so he'd always look his best.]

That doesn't tell me shit! Are we talking chemical elements, wind water fire and that sort of fantasy shit? What?

[That sets him off. He snarls and tries to get in his face. Even if Beck is a bit taller.]

IT'S NOT A REAL WIN!!!

[He takes a breath, wiping sweat from his forehead.

And then he tries to punch Beck in the face.]

Hey, whoa!

[Beck puts up an arm defensively and the green energy shield quickly forms around him again - it will either knock Katsuki back or enclose him in with Beck.]

Ah-!

[Katsuki goes flying back, hitting the ground. He gets back up and runs for it again.]

Fight me, bastard!!!

[mysterioisthetruth]

[Beck can be heard through the bubble that he isn't letting down any time soon.]

What are you trying to prove?

[The energy defences are actually very strong and should stop most any element or person from getting through, as long as Beck can maintain it.]
