[The camera turns on to show the inside of a store. It's decorated with cobwebs and hanging bats, the corner of a menacing skeleton just at the edge of the screen. It's a Halloween store through and through, that much is obvious.

Suddenly, though, there's a shadow on the wall and some extremely exaggerated mwahahahahahaha! type laughter before Bart pops into view. His hair is slicked back and he has fake fangs stuck to his teeth, just barely visible over how he has his arm thrown in front of him, draped in a black cape.]

Bewaaaare the mighty Draaaacula! [He wiggles his eyebrows in what he hopes is a menacing way before breaking out into laughter] Oh! Oh, or- [He runs from in front of the camera, and all that can be heard is the gentle wshhh of fabric moving against fabric.

Just a few seconds later he's walking stiffly back on screen, arms held out straight in front of him and wrapped in fake bloody bandages, his mouth slack and open in a loud groan. He makes it halfway across the screen before dissolving back into laughter and running off again.

What follows are a few quick costume changes and rather theatrical reveals; Pirate.] ARRRR Someone be tellin' me that- pfff- [Ghost] BOO! Haha!! Someone told me that October has this- this thing called- [Mad Scientist] Halloween muahahaha! Which, dude, best idea for a holiday ever do we really get candy if we dress up?

[He's forgoing the costume change now, instead just grabbing up his comm and grinning into it excitedly.] I mean, I've never gotten to do Halloween and it sounds totally crash so I started wondering what other holidays are there? This world, other worlds, oh are there alien holidays??

[Just then, another voice cuts in - HEY! YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO TAKE THEM OUT OF THE PACKAGE! - and Bart winces comically - YOU BETTER BE BUYING ALL OF THESE, KID!!] Whoops, busted.

[There's a final glimpse of the store, a rather impressive pile of discarded costumes, an angry shop keeper, and Bart's unrepentant grin, before the video cuts.]

Yeah! Like anything creepy like skeletons and pirates and zombies although some people go as what they want to be I'd bed anything back home people go as Leaguers and heroes but I know they had surgeons and cowboys at the costume store. But the better your costume the more treats you get!

[Wow. That was a lot of words said very fast.]

Candy! [He's saying it like it's the most obvious and important thing in the world] You know- anything made of at least ninety-nine percent sugar probably rot your teeth out sends you on the most crashin' sugar rush and is just overall delicious not as good as freeze dried Chicken Whizees but then again nothing is dude what other reason do you need?

[.... Yeah the babbling never really gets better]

All right, but what do the costumes have to do with anything?

[Yes, confusion, she has it.]

No idea. [Blunt] But dude, they're costumes! Dressing up as whatever you want to be its the most crackalackin' thing ever!

[Someone needs to take pop culture away from Impulse]

I...see.

[She doesn't.]

[Bart pauses for just a second, reaching a hand up to tap a finger against the side of his cheek for a moment in quick thought]

Hmmm. You've never wanted to be something else? Like, you see someone and you think they're totally crash- uh, cool. And you just sometimes wish you could dress up like them and see what it's like?

We have superheroes back home, and there's this one- the Flash. He can move faster than anything and he uses that to help anyone who needs it anywhere in the world at any time. [There's something a little wistful in the smile Bart's giving the camera] But um. He wasn't around when I was born. So I grew up hearing stories about him, wanted nothing more to meet him. Or even to be the next him, if I couldn't go back and meet him.

[Not that Bart really feels like he's an honest part of the Flash legacy. Barry's training him back home, sure, and Wally's beaten family into his head here. But... there's just something that still hasn't clicked into place.]

So it's just- it's kind of thing with costumes, I guess. Dressing up as something that makes you feel stronger, or is just fun.

Now I understand! [Look at that light bulb flashing over her head!]

We don't have superheroes back home. We have alchemists. They normally dress like normal people.

Crash! [He pumps a fist in the air in excited victory] Hey, normal people sometimes dress weird I mean, there's really not one that dresses kinda different?

...Well...most of the ones I've met dress in military uniforms...but there are a couple who dress...different.

Then go as them it'll be fun! [He grins, and leans forward, almost as if he's sharing a secret] I think I'm gonna go as my grandpa. At least for a while and oh! Dude, we can even meet up! Everyone keeps telling me its way more fun in a group.

[No way was Winry dressing as Kimblee, and Ed...was just Ed. It'd be weird enough convincing him to lend her his coat.]

We'll see about dressing up, but...sure, meeting would be okay.

Haha sweet! It'll be totally fun everything I've seen about Halloween is that it's fun and hey if you don't have a costume even by the time people go trick or treating I can totally help you out there.

Consider me a quick-change expert.

[Ummm. Can you take a breath there?]

[The verdict's still out on that one]

Yeah! Y'know uh- run off screen, come back two seconds later in a new costume. Quick-change!

[The sens drops, Bart, too bad.]

[There's a moment where Bart looks thoroughly stricken before- oh screw it. Screw it anyone who's listening to his conversations this far has obviously been able to figure it out if so many people are just calling him out on it so...

He gives up. Keeping his crashin' powers a secret is stupid, anyway.]

I'm not supposed to let people know what my powers are. [ARMCROSS] It's so lame.
