Secrets Revealed! Who's Really Protecting Our Country?

Via an exclusive source, Tattlecrime: Heropa has found information that you, the public, have been demanding to know: more about the imPorts, the heroes that protect us from the Soviets and executed that wonderful rescue effort in Orlando and that alright rescue effort in Bulgaria. Here, premiering exclusively on Tattlecrime, are excerpts from the files of thirteen of our nation's own imPorts. You'd think that this would be something good, a chance to show just what our heroes are made of. But instead, it turns out to be a look into the seedy underbelly of Heropa's own imPorts, as the files reveal such tragic topics about the heroes themselves.

Are these really the people we want protecting our nation? You decide.

ACE
RESIDENCE: Heropa 006 [see: Ludgate, April; Nishi, Jochiro; Bradbury, Rick; Kanecki, Ken]
POWERS: Talking dog. Super strength, stamina, and heightened senses derived from lycanthropy.
MEDICAL HISTORY: Carrier for lycanthropy. Disease transferred through bites and saliva: Ace is contagious and is considered dangerous
NOTES: Technically unemployed; formerly a crossing guard, but was recently suspended due to violent behavior. Possible involvement in animal attacks as detailed in Files UD-H: 135, UD-H: 150

ARAGAKI, SHINJIRO
RESIDENCE: De Chima 001 [see: Sanada, Akihiko; Jones, Killian; Jones; Jessica (no relation); Taylor; Jacob]
POWERS: Deterioration and Restoration. The ability to rot/decay or to restore via physical contact. Aragaki can rot things via touch, and then transfer the energy to mend or heal things. The upper limits have not been tested, though it is safe to say that Aragaki could easily kill a man.

Based on records from others from his world, it is entirely possible that Aragaki used to have a Persona (large monster that he was capable of summoning.) If so, it is possible that he still has the Persona power, but it has been repressed or only exists in his mind. Ideas are being tested to see if it is possible to bring out Aragaki’s Persona power, as it will prove undoubtedly useful in any potential combats.
MEDICAL HISTORY: Deceased, brought back to life by the Porter. Cause of death: exsanguination due to multiple close-range gunshot wounds. One hit in the vicinity of the liver from the front, exiting the back of his torso, the second entered his chest from the back, around the shoulder blade, and the bullet lodged within his chest. Death occurred within a few minutes.

Prior to death, several organs were beginning to fail due to repeated use of failed-experimental drugs meant to suppress abilities--the trend is still continuing, with particular emphasis on Arageki’s liver and kidney. It is entirely possible that Aragaki is still using experimental drugs in order to help control his current powers.
NOTES: Currently attends Heropa High School. Part-Time At-Risk Youth Counselor at Heropa Youth Center. The effect of such a personality on unstable youth is under assessment, though the outcome does not look good.

BALDWIN, ROBBIE [alias: Speedball]
RESIDENCE: Xavier School for imPorts, Heropa [see: Frost, Emma]
POWERS: Hyperkinetic energy production/channeling, taking the form of bubbles, blasts, and kinetic shields. These constructs absorb attacks and allow Baldwin to bounce.
MEDICAL HISTORY: Trauma-induced mental health issues, including PTSD, depression, and possible self-harm. Regular hallucinations which are treated with (REDACTED). Subject is highly unstable, with the potential for suicidal tendencies. Closer evaluation needed.
NOTES: Currently works as a teacher at Xavier’s School. The effect of such an unstable personality on the students has shown (REDACTED)

ELRIC, EDWARD [alias: Fullmetal Alchemist]
RESIDENCE: Heropa 035 [see: Rockbell, Winry; Chavez, America; Sharm, Amalia Sheran; Zoldyck, Killua]
POWERS: Alchemy. Can create or fix nearly anything as long as he has the right materials. Limits are shown to be [REDACTED]
MEDICAL HISTORY: Auto-mail prosthetic right arm. Previous use of prosthetic for left leg, does not use anymore thanks to the leg being regrown by No1. Arm and leg loss shows consistent with wartime loss, possibly lost in battle. Stunted height, possibly a mild form of dwarfism. Previous impalement at the stomach. Elric bears various attempts to have healed it, which have possibly affected his lifespan.
NOTES: Currently owns an alchemy shop, where he repairs and creates item for people. Currently a student. Former milk delivery boy.

HALE, DEREK
RESIDENCE: Heropa 038 [see: Martin, Lydia; Stilinski (REDACTED)]
POWERS: Lycanthropy. The ability to shift into a werewolf form. For more information, see (REDACTED)
MEDICAL HISTORY: Spotless. Hale appears to be in the prime of health.
NOTES: Currently working at a bouncer at an imPort run business [see: Loki]. Possible involvement in animal attacks as detailed in Files UD-H: 135, UD-H: 150

KANG (LORD-GOVERNOR)
RESIDENCE: Heropa 033 [see: Hell, Aleksandr Nikolaevich; Mandrake, John]
POWERS: Draconian form: the ability to glide short distances, low metabolism, enhanced vision, enhanced smell. Draconians explode upon death, there is no current way of telling how to best nullify this effect. Magic: mostly consisting of elemental spells, a few life-draining spells, spells have the possibility and potency to kill people. Human form: enhanced senses, shapeshifting into Draconian form, enhanced charisma.
MEDICAL HISTORY: Large scar on back near the spine, massive scarring and nerve damage on the right hand, multiple minor scars on rest of body.
NOTES: Currently working as a civil engineer in Heropa.

LANGFORD, ELLIE
RESIDENCE: Heropa, Individual Housing, [see: Clarke, Isaac]
POWERS: Empathy + empathetic healing, Accelerated healing, Psychic shields
MEDICAL HISTORY: Replacement organically grown green eye. Scars on her arms and shoulder blades from exposure to some sort of gas as well as some scars of unidentifiable origins. The device known as a RIG on her back monitors her health through her nervous system. Exposed to an extraterrestrial infection, no known origin, infectious. The infection can be spread via fluid transfer, blood transfusions, and [REDACTED]
NOTES: Currently working as an EMT. None of her current patients have been infected yet, though authorities have been debating whether or not to remove Langford from the position.

LEVI [alias: Rivaille]
RESIDENCE: Heropa 028. [see: Castle, Richard; Magnolia, Isabel]
POWERS: Limited Flight. Titan shifter. Ability to turn into large humanoid form. [see: Leonhart, Annie; Braun, Reiner]
MEDICAL HISTORY: Hairline fracture in his right ankle. Vitamin D Deficiency, possible Raynaud's. Terminally ill with (REDACTED), forecasts give Levi less than a year to live.
NOTES: Current firefighter with Heropa Fire Department. Notable relationship with (REDACTED), child soldiers under his command in his world. Generally unpleasant.

MARTIN, LYDIA
RESIDENCE: Heropa 038 [see: Hale, Derek; Stilinski (REDACTED)]
POWERS: Banshee abilities. Able to sense death via visual and auditory hallucinations. Supernatural based. Her screams signal incoming death. Possible ability to communicate with the dead, via spiritual anchor (usually an object of that person’s).
MEDICAL HISTORY: Minor scarring from animal bite. Currently taking twice-monthly prescription for lorazepam.
NOTES: Currently working as a tutor for university level math as well as attending high school. Suspected genius-level IQ, though specifics are currently unknown. Vocal supporter of registration.

PARKER, KAINE [alias: Spider-Man]
RESIDENCE: Nonah 001 [see: Braun, Reiner; Leonhart, Annie; Penalba, Aracely]
POWERS: Spider abilities, stealth suit, the Other. The Other is a monstrous being living inside his head and possibly influencing his thoughts. Parker has relatively good control over the Other, though instances such as [REDACTED] might cause someone to call it into question.
MEDICAL HISTORY: Lingering traces of mental illness.
NOTES: Currently works as a bodyguard. Notable relationship with Penalba, Aracely.

PINKMAN, JESSE [alias: Diesel]
RESIDENCE: Xavier School for imPorts, Heropa. [see: Frost, Emma]
POWERS: Empathic healing: immediately heals others by taking their ailments upon himself. Accelerated regeneration: heals himself at twice the speed of a normal human. Power augmentation: doubles the strength and efficacy of his own or others' superpowers, reverses power null.
MEDICAL HISTORY: Allergic to erythromycin. Subject shows past evidence of broken ribs as well as signs of drug use. It is unknown whether he is currently using, though it is a high possibility. Pinkman shows possible evidence of former depression, PTSD, and psychosis. Currently seeking treatment for HPV, PID (snipping out the rest of this here because I KNOW some kids will probably read this article and I don’t want to be the one to give The Talk. Needless to say, I want to take a shower after reading Pinkman's full medical history. -Freddie)

POLO, MARCO [alias: The Magnificent]
RESIDENCE: Heropa 031 [see: Bleak, Klarion; Galloway, Dalia; Boltagon, Maximus]
POWERS: DNA acquisition, shapeshifting into animal forms, telepathy when shifted. Side note: shapeshifting ability has two hour time limit, subject must return to human form or otherwise risk being permanently stuck as animal.
MEDICAL HISTORY: Nothing of note.
NOTS: Part time worker at frozen banana stand.

SKYE
RESIDENCE: Heropa 016 [see: Bumblebee; Abel, Riley; Arlert, Armin; Kent, Connor]
POWER: Cyberpathy. Limits include (REDACTED)
MEDICAL HISTORY: Evidence of prior wounds to stomach, most likely gunshot. DNA and blood samples are irregular for a baseline human. Possible alien or scientifically modified (non-Porter) origin.
NOTES: No last name given. Currently works at StarkTech [see: Stark, Tony]. On watchlist IN-2 because of her activities in hacking the government’s files.

Okay. So, that explains a lot. [ if they're brothers, they have to talk a lot. they must share all the business they have with each other. which means kaine may well know more about kanaya's situation than she does his. it's not an comfortable thought. ]

I suppose the real question is why you decided to start making a life here outside of the mask, after so long refraining. Or, perhaps, why you decided not to for so many years in the City.

[ it makes sense. if he isn't terribly social already, then there isn't much reason for him maintain a social identity until someone knows him. still, it feels so surreal to think he was already in the city before she was, and she just didn't know about it. but she's always had trouble reading space around spider-man. it isn't impossible.

she turns the discussion private, because most of the conversations she has with spider-man are too sensitive to share. ]

This is going to be dangerous, now that it's out. We know already he's been trying to learn that information.

[Kaine remains taciturn, but what he's really trying to do is figure out who he is.

It doesn't take long, though. There aren't that many "hes" in Peter Parker's life.]

It's only sheer luck that he hadn't already. [He considers adding more, but being quiet, being short, that saves him from adding more that someone can guess.] But it was always gonna happen eventually.

You'll have to consider what it will mean for Aracely.

[ it took so much work just to get rose to call who-she-thinks-is-him just from her fear of what norman will do not to rose, but herself. and then there's gwen, they've all heard that story before. norman doesn't have to hit directly to strike close. ]

Aracely's inside my head. [Which he realizes she made a show of when he left, but he figures it might as well be made clear.] She knows what's coming. But if he can't get to her, there's others. [Before long, he figures people will know that he went after Lunatic for Annie. That he cares about Reiner.

He's made the mistake of getting involved with people here. And while he's not Spider-Man, it just fucking figures that there would be some way of things blowing up in his face.]

That's something I think we'd all like to avoid. [ even if aracely might be the most likely target, annie and reiner hadn't escaped her thoughts. or peter, he may be higher priority. ]

There is always the proactive approach. Osborn is a threat to all of us, and we need to find a way to put him down before he attempts the same.

[His mouth opens to agree and he catches himself.

He's Spider-Man.

He's fucking Spider-Man, no matter what threat he's just offered to Freddie. But no matter what threat he's given, no one would expect Spider-Man to go through with it.

Couldn't Peter have a single jagged edge? Just one that lasts for more than five seconds?

We can't let him die. That's the bottom line. Stop him, head him off, do ... [whatever. Ugh, he's terrible at this "no one dies" bullshit.] We do what we can, but we can't stoop to his level.

Words are one thing, actions are another. [At the end there, he almost sounds like Peter, perhaps for the first time. His voice mimics his because he repeats wisdom that he knows too well.] It's our responsibility to uphold that. [Which makes his mouth feel like he's just swallowed a bunch of pebbles, but even then, he still sounds like Peter Parker, Spider-Man.

You mean if he'd done so publicly. We know he's up to something unsavory, we only lack the proof. The Hobgoblin would likely give us an opening to determine that truth, but you already know how poorly our attempts to hunt him have gone.

If you were the pattern, I think he'd have taken the bait by now. [ there's a much stronger pattern with rose, really, but there's no way kanaya would suggest using her as bait instead. ] I've been tracking his reported sightings, however. Most of them were focused in Heropa, perhaps most prominently when you met him on the highway, though there have been some in De Chima.

That doesn't narrow anything down.

Yes, well, I haven't gotten much chance to know his thread, either. What else am I meant to do to find someone who seems to be very good at not being found?
