So. Heroes, huh?
[ Dick Grayson, the communicator reads. A normal name for a normal boy. And the boy on screen is unusually young — a teenager, but slender and small for his age. His voice is high and clear; lightly amused, friendly and polite. The kind of kid who would get an A in a public speaking class and charm your grandmother without trying. ]
I’m guessing “Why me?,” “Who’s responsible for this?,” and “When can I go home?” have been covered dozens of times already, so I won’t bother.
So... who exactly are we here to help? I'm not exactly the hero type — pretty sure someone mixed up their super-paperwork — but I'll do my civic duty and help get cats out of trees or whatever, especially if it'll get me home in time for my math test. I don't think "sorry, I was kidnapped to an alternate dimension" sounds much more plausible than homework-eating dogs.
