Hey all. Quick PSA:

Over at StarkTech there's a team of us that are working on a solution to some of the weird ~memory shenanigans~ that you might have seen around lately. We're no closer to a cure, but I'm pretty sure we HAVE now successfully got a working prototype for a "vaccine" of sorts. Basically we've figured out how to upgrade the imPort nanites to protect anyone else from getting false memories implanted in their head and believing that they're real.

If you want to swing by StarkTech any time this week, we'll be happy to fix you up. Free lollipop for people who come in, and it doesn't take any time at all. You can pop in over a lunch break.

The project's being headed by Jemma Simmons, Hiro Hamada, and me-- hi, I'm Skye, if we haven't met before. We'll be rotating different shifts, so you might not see all of us, but one of us will be around.

Skye said these are going to be the trials. That sounds risky. Are there any hiccups you're anticipating?

well it's possible it just flat out won't work. but we're not going to send someone to stand up on top of a tall building to find out. then there's making sure it doesn't mess with someone's current memories. that's my biggest worry.

well it works by strengthening the memories that you have, kind of. helps deflect the outsiders, but we don't want people hallucinating or having flashbacks so... we made sure that wasn't possible first.

That's actually good. Nobody likes seeing things that aren't there.

exaaaaactly. we'd be just as bad as the lightning in that case.

At least yours is unintentional? The precision of these lightning strikes is... suspicious.

I'm not sure. I mean, it could also be a freak storm, but it's incredibly RARE to be struck by lightning in your lifetime.

... much less only imports getting hit, huh.

superpower, maybe. or a generator somewhere.

Is it just imPorts? I haven't heard about civilians, but no one may have reported it yet.
Superpowers seem likely, but I don't know how it accounts for the memories. Unless their brains have been fried.

maybe i can't assume that without more data ... but i haven't seen anything yet. oughta be something on the news if there was, right?

uhhhh she's right that it is in trials. but it's as safe as anything can be for that.
