[This is - not particularly a post that Max wants to make, but it's the quickest way to get her offer across, and the quicker they get to work, the better.]

I will keep this brief, as we are all rather busy right now, however I hope I may be of some use to anyone amongst us with scientific expertise.

My body has been infected with the virus that was brought into this world, but I am able to keep it from effecting my behavior, and from spreading to others. I believe this may allow a more compliant test subject than has been available until now, for those attempting to create a treatment or vaccination.

I've quarantined myself in my own apartment to avoid putting an extra body in the hospital, but if anyone requires my assistance for studying the virus, contact me here.

Everyone else, please listen to the authorities and stay safe.

[She hopes people don't ask too many questions about how she can keep the virus under control, because she hates talking about her powers.]

I might take you up on that offer, once I get a game plan figured out. I'm a Munie too, but there are factors about this place that change what I know about the virus. That's where you'd come in.

Pretty much. The only problem is that I already know the answer to why I'm immune isn't in my blood, so I have no idea where to start with any kinds of tests here.

It's actually, because of the Flare, all I really came to learn about growing up. Trying to figure out what made the Munies different from those who were infected, mutations in our genetics, that kind of thing.

Yes, actually. Killzone ( what we call the brain, because that's where the virus attacks ) mapping is what lead to the human Trials. Subjects were implanted with a chip called the Swipe - it erased their memories but not their experiences, made is possible to map out their brain activity without any kind of emotional bias.

It sounds hideous and that's because it absolutely was. But we didn't have many options. We didn't have any options.

No. I had to be a part of the Trials, after some time, but things went south before any kind of conclusive results were found. I was in the middle of all that when I got pulled here.

All we know for sure is that it wasn't possible until my generation was born. People weren't immune, before us. There aren't any specific markers that show up in blood samples across the board, nor bone marrow, nor any of the tissues. As far as any of us knew it was all up to chance.

This place changes all of that. Then again, this place probably changed the virus, too. Mutated it into something that can beat out whatever our nanites can do to protect us.
