Oh! I'm a lab assistant. [ Even though she is fully capable of being a researcher rather than an assistant…she won't complain for now. ] I'm only there a couple of days a week, so it must have slipped my mind! It's at [ here's an address that makes sense ].

... Really? That's all? Dude, you could totally do better if you wanted.

[ He is gonna pack up and start heading that way, though. ]

[ There's a light frown at that. ] Well, yeah, but- [ The reason she's not complaining yet is because she's wary that the government might be look into whatever she's doing if she were a researcher. It's easier to work on her personal endeavors in an area where they most likely won't snoop around (aka the garage and the kitchen). Do you really want to get into a conversation about how she doesn't trust the government right now, Hiro? ] - It's fine right now. At the moment, let's worry about helping you get Tadashi back!

[ Honey isn't actually there at the moment, so she's going to follow suit and head that way as well. ]

[ With that said, she disconnects the video to focus on hurrying to get there at least a few minutes before Hiro does, so she can begin unloading any necessary supplies from the storage cabinets - test tubes, bunsen burners, crucible tongs, beakers, and so on and so forth. There is also the matter of creating some space and assuring that samples and other on going projects aren't near their area - just in case.

Luckily, when she arrives, there's no site of Hiro, so she swipes in a key at the door, and hastily makes her way to the lab to do as much as she can. ]

[ It takes some time for him to get himself together anyway, plus the time it takes to walk over. It won't add a huge amount of time, but enough to give her a little more breathing room. A few minutes after she's gotten everything in order, he knocks on the door. Suddenly a little shy, being in a new place like this. ]

Hello?

[ Hiro is a level away from Honey, so she does not hear the door. But she does see him through some large glass windows from the second floor, and she is quick as she practically sprints down the stair case to get to the door as soon as she can to fling it open. ]

Helloooo! [ Naturally, Hiro is greeted with a beaming smile and a tight hug. It lasts just a moment longer than the usual embrace because they have not been able to see each other often, and, of course, she misses him.

By the end of the hug, Honey takes his hand and urges him to follow her into the building and up the stairs. ]

So, I have just a few ideas in particular, and I think you're gonna love them, but if you have anything in mind, that's fine too! The possibilities are endless!

[ Whoa, hug o' clock. He's glad to see Honey, of course, but he still goes a little limp when she just about picks him up with the force of her hugging. His ribs will never be the same. ]

I - uh - [ Oof, let him catch his breath. ] How 'bout you show me first? I've never seen your lab before.

[ Honey is difficult to stop when the excitement is flowing. At least she tends to slow down after a demonstration. Until then, Hiro should take a moment to compose himself, while Honey moves quickly around the room to complete any needed preparations. ]

Now, if you're looking for something that's messy, but not too hard to clean up, elephant's toothpaste would work well. The safer version of it, that is. [ Which she won't show him, as they have already done it before. ]

But! [ Pause for dramatic effect. ] If you want something more difficult to manage, there is a super simple reaction we can use. Come here, I'll show you! [ She leads him over to table where she had already prepared a large bowl of a substance that appears to be a thick, white liquid. ]

All you have to do is pick up a handful and compress it in your hands. [ And when he does so, it should almost feel like dipping your hands into glue, but when he holds it tightly, it'll act as a solid. The kicker comes in the next step. ]

[ Yep, that elephant's toothpaste was plenty impressive the first time. He's much, much more interested in the new demonstration. Leaning in closer to get a good look, he moves his hands back and forth. That texture is totally weird. ]

What is it? Some kind of hydrophobic compound?

It's actually a non-Newtonian liquid, a combination of cornstarch and water. [ Which doesn't sound very exciting in its simplicity, but the reaction, in Honey's opinion, is absolutely fascinating. ]

Now, release pressure and… [ What used to feel like a solid will turn back into a thick liquid once pressure is released. It should slip easily through Hiro's fingers and drip downwards in long strands. What should be left in his hands is the white stained remnants of the mixture. Did she mention it would be messy? ] If you see a few globs of it, it looks fairly easy to pick up. But doing so causes it to completely fall apart and make an absolute mess. And the best part? It's very similar to quicksand. If you stand in it, you'll sink, and get stuck. Oh! And it works great with food coloring. [ Hint, hint. If he wants to use this, it's going to be pink. ]

[ The idea of covering something of Tadashi's in pink non-Newtonian quicksand is an appealing one, for sure. He plunges his hands back in, kind of feeling around some more. ]

Sooo if I drop something of his in it, good luck getting it out without a pink mess?

[ With a smirk and a nod, Honey flashes a look that could be on par to that of a mad scientist. ]

I'd say it's virtually impossible not to make a mess with stuff unless you're completely prepared to deal with it.

[ Which Tadashi won't be. ]

[ Oh he is definitely grinning now. ]

Honey, you're the best.

[ She waves a dismissive hand at the comment, but her grin stays in place. ]

Anything to help you out, Hiro!

I mean it, jeez. Chemistry is not my strong point.

[ Could he manage something if he had to? Sure, there's a little chemistry involved even in engineering. But nothing on Honey's level. Something softens in his expression as well. Having friends is still such a new concept, he has to stop and gawk at it for a moment. ]

... Thanks. Uh, for everything.

[ Her grin settles to a gentle smile, her shoulders hunching as a response from her own bashfulness at the sincerity of the comment. ]

It's no problem. This is what friends are for, right? [ The being there for each other part more so than using chemistry against Tadashi part. ]

Yeah. I guess they are. I mean, I guess that's still new. For me. I'm glad you're here.

[ Though using chemistry against Tadashi is also a great way to be friends. ]
