I'm actually speaking to you all today because I could use a little, ah... assistance? When I first came here, I was told that in addition to my healing powers, I had an item from my home world as well. And that item was-- this: [She takes the camera, turning it to reveal... a humanoid robot, roughly 14-15 feet tall] The experimental Knightmare Frame, 'Lancelot.' It was being developed by my brother's research facility, and the pilot was a... very, very dear friend of mine.

But I don't know much about using it, myself. Is there anyone here who considers themselves experienced in this kind of thing?

It feels a little wasteful just to leave Lancelot gathering dust in a garage like this.

I don't know that I'd like to claim it for use, but would you be willing to let me have a look at it? One of my specialties [one of her many specialties ...] back home was to build mechabots like that one.

Yes, that should be fine! I'm afraid I won't be able to answer many questions you have myself, though. If my brother were here I'm sure he'd do a much better job of it.

Lancelot? Ah, "Knightmare" wouldn't be spelled with a K, would it? It seems like exactly the right kind of pun. I'm sorry, though, I'm afraid I don't know much about these from firsthand experience. Not ones that aren't autonomous, at least. Anyone actually piloting something like that strikes me as nothing short of terrifying, especially if it's armed.

It is very elegantly designed, though. Your friend and brother both have excellent taste.

Yes! [Euphie shuffles around so that the camera shows it from the side, a large block extending from the back between the "shoulders."] That's the cockpit block. On most Knightmare Frames, it doubled as an ejector, but I don't think this had one? Suzaku always seemed so resolved every time he climbed into it... [She trails off slightly.]

Does it have any autonomous functionality? I imagine it must have some kind of onboard computer to aid with locomotion, maybe targeting?? What is the purpose of those wheels on its feet? Do it shift pose that allows it to take advantage of those as a form of locomotion?

Yes, it looks very different! [Oh no cute little girl.]

It's not autonomous at all, to the best of my knowledge; it's fully piloted. But there is an onboard computer, of course.

It doesn't shift poses, but the wheels do allow it greater speed and maneuverability on flat surfaces.

Lancelot's actually smaller than back home by half a meter or so! Not enough to really notice the difference, though.

That depends on what you mean by 'safe.' I'm sure anyone could operate it somewhat without hurting themselves.

But it is a very... powerful machine.
