I don't actually know if greeting people is a thing new people do on here, so. Hi, I'm Anya, I'm new, yadda yadda.

Quick question for you guys: do they figure out who to take from each world? Like, putting their little crosshairs over us and then plucking us out to dump us here? Because I think the military is putting a little too much effort into this with me, I'm not really into this army or "hero" stuff.

Follow-up question: it is the year 2015, right? Did somebody forget to mention that the Cold War is over? Seriously. It's been like more than 25 years, what gives?

What's so hard about it? What other benefits do they take away?

You won't be protected by the government or receive medical insurance. If you stay out of trouble and out of their way, they won't care what you do. However they won't feel obligated to take care of you either.

I don't know.

I understand why people register. Sometimes it feels like the only logical choice. I'm not registered because I don't like the idea of being tied down to the government I don't know about or trust. Even I have a lot of doubts though.

If you must know though, there is a greater anti-government sentiment no matter what side people are on.

Can the government make you do stuff even if you're unregistered?

They haven't forced anything on me, if that gives you an idea. You stay out of their way and they stay out of yours it seems.

However I never heard of someone registering and then unregistering. Maybe it can be done, but you would have to ask around to know for sure. I'm sorry I can't be of much help there.

Then I guess staying unregistered sounds like the best option. I want the government keeping their noses out of my business--at least, as out of my business as they can be when they literally teleported me here.
