Quick question for you guys: do they figure out who to take from each world? Like, putting their little crosshairs over us and then plucking us out to dump us here? Because I think the military is putting a little too much effort into this with me, I'm not really into this army or "hero" stuff.

I don't think the military really considers who they take that much. Which is a bit more distressing than the fact that they take people at all to begin with.

I'm not sure honestly. They could just be lying to us by saying we get brought here at random. I would hope they take us, just because hearing that they may not be in control at all is worrisome.

I've thought about that a lot. The people they pick—I doubt it's random. So many people live in different worlds, so what are the odds of imPorts knowing each other? But it happens a lot.

So I think if anyone's deciding exactly who to bring, it's because it's entertaining to them, not because they think we'd be effective.

Second off, you can't just say things like the military has their own agenda and not say what it is! And who's Lachesis supposed to be?

Apparently the Soviets are incredibly persistent in this universe. More so than usual.
