It's been a while, but I suppose I'm curious—and it's hard to do much for curiosity, once it's born, is there? Some feelings can't be snuffed out, once they exist, no matter how much you might wish for it.

[ The voice is that of a young woman, somewhere between late teens and early twenties, lower-middle pitch and a steady cadence. A little tired, perhaps a little bored, but not irritably so. ]

Darkness, Earth, Water, Light, Wind, or Flame.

Choose one, please. But, before you do, know that there's no right answer, or wrong answer, and there's no moral component to any of them. "Light" doesn't mean good; "darkness" doesn't mean evil. Only whichever suits you. Something a little trivial, perhaps, but I'd like to hear your answers.

If you had electricity up there, I would've chosen it, too. They're-- well, I guess they're not technically elements. But they're what my powers are based in.

And those are very important to you, I take it?

You could say.

My powers aren't anything I learned, I guess? But they're tied in closely to my identity, in a way. So I think it won't be inaccurate to associate myself with those powers.

Something like that. Or rather, when I first gained this power, she said she was my "true self." Can't get much closer than that.

Ah, yes. My power in a nutshell can be described as "summoning." I summon a creature from inside my mind, and her name is Nemesis.

If "space" had been one of them, it would have been easy. I had to figure out what was the next best thing.

Choosing one says something about you doesn't it? Whether there's a wrong or right choice or not.

It can, but it doesn't necessarily have to. It's just a way to kill time.
