[The camera is flicked on, already expertly focused. Josuke's doing, in case you wondered. But then, he's a teenager. He ought to be experienced if only for all the selfies he's taken!

Sitting next to him at a table outside an ice cream shop called What's the Scoop? is Hisoka. Unlike Josuke, the magician is busy with a gumball popsicle and doesn't appear to be paying any attention to the camera at the moment. The teenager, on the other hand, is already ready and eager to talk a little 'business' with the network...]

Okay, my friend and I had this amazing idea a while back! [Josuke throws an arm around Hisoka's neck and tugs him closer in a headlock. This involves you, buddy! Let the people see how amped you are!] See, we've been wanting to play some paintball, but then we got to thinking...why not make it an open invite? For imPorts, I mean.

[There's no jump at Josuke's sudden headlock but Hisoka definitely stops eating his ice cream to almost uncomfortably stare at the foreign limb slung over him. Only to then look down to see half of the popsicle he was eating now on the ground. Thanks Josuke.]

Mm... [A pause before he glances up to put in his two cents, just dropping the rest of his popsicle and the stick on the ground.]

An open invitation, yes, and we've already chosen the location. All you have to do is pick your own partner... or partners. It really doesn't matter how many of you there are. Though, to have the most fun? The more the merrier.

Yeah, and like, how many of you can resist an opportunity to pelt this guy in the face with paintballs, am I right? [Josuke nods in Hisoka's direction before sliding his arm off the other man's shoulders, though of course his smirk remains in place.] I'll be honest, though, 'cause I feel like it wouldn't be fair if I didn't warn you guys... Hisoka and I? We're gonna be on a team, so if you think we're gonna make it easy for ya, think again.

[Leaning forward to pick up the camera, Josuke cocks his head to the side, eyes bright with unbridled fun and mischief.]

If you're interested and you think you can keep up, then be ready for the 18th. Hisoka or I will text you the location the day before the game's on.

Oh...and one final thing. [Are you guys still listening? If you plan to play, you should be!] It's anything goes as long as it ain't lethal!

[And that's, as they say, that. Josuke hangs up, though not before a horrified yelp from the teenager can be heard...]

Fuck! Hisoka, I think you got ice cream on my new shoes!

I don't know about other places, but rain isn't really something that happens in the Fire Kingdom. It's nothing but fire, rocks, and magma - it's actually pretty great.

[What and interesting and simple sounding place... Like a child's cartoon.]

Fire, rocks, magma, and people made of flame? Is there an Ice Kingdom too?

... Yeah, but the only person there is the Ice King. And his penguins.

No ice people? How odd.

Well, there are water elementals and snow golems. But it's mostly the penguins there, I think. I haven't really bothered checking, most of my life back home was busy handing junk in the Fire Kingdom

So you have penguins, what sort of other animals? Cats? Dogs? Fire dogs?

[Handling... Right, she said somewhere- Flame 'Princess'?]

Royalty can be difficult on some, but as a princess you handle things? Do princesses normally?

There are fire wolves - they can be found all over the Fire Kingdom.

And princesses are usually the ones in charge. Sometimes there are kings, but we're usually the people who run things. It's better that way.

[Ooohh, fire wolves, excuse him. He laughs a little.]

Why is it better that way?

Because kings always gronk stuff up. [Duh.] Though some of the princesses aren't any better.

But I only deal with them as much as I need to. Taking care of my kingdom will always be my top priority.

I'm unfamiliar with both kings and queens in even my world. But to think princesses hold such power, you must be impressive.

[A smile, his eyes slimming.]

How long have you held such a responsibility? You seem so young. ['Seem'. Key word here. She's made of fire so... who knows!]

I'm sixteen, and I've been ruler for about a year now. My father was in charge for almost all my life, but I staged a coup and overthrew him.

Everything's a lot better now that he can't do anything to hurt people, anymore.

Overthrew your father? [His brows raise.] My, you must be strong then, and to treat your family like that... he must have been a terrible man as well.

I am. [Strong enough to destroy the world. Though that aspect of herself has thankfully been nullified here.]

He was a terrible king and a worse father. But he can't do any more damage where he is now. I made sure of that.

[Nnghh, how unfortunate. He'd like some of that. Though it'd be a lot better if it was better honed and controlled by her. Unpolished power can be grand but... it's the potential of how impressive she or anyone can be when they harness and use their ability to it's highest peak that gets him revved.]

Oh? And where is he now?

In a lamp above my throne. I keep him as a prisoner, but there he serves a good example, too.

[That's. A little odd.]

You wish him to be an example? That close? Wouldn't he become a nuisance there?

He could - [And has already become one once before.] - but it's nothing that can't be handled.

Besides, I could kill him, or I could keep him prisoner and make him watch and live with the fact that everything that was his is mine now. And he'll have to spend the rest of his life knowing that he'll never be more powerful than me, both as a ruler and as a person.

[What a thing to say, her words, what is being said and her intensity have him breathing in a little deeper. A girl made on fire talking like that is almost... humourous, but he definitely can respect such conviction. Respect and get into.]

So then you want him to suffer? What a naughty thing to say. Or do you think he can learn?

He isn't capable of learning. This is what he deserves.

So punishment. Did he teach you that?

He'd just have people killed. He only went with alternatives when he couldn't just kill someone.

It's why he kept me prisoner for so long when sending me out to die didn't work.

Your father kept you as a prisoner? What drama, but you seem like you came out so strong and spirited. So then, was his influence entirely bad?

Until I was fourteen, and the only good thing I learned from him was how not to be.

I'd say that was positive, in a way, don't you think? Though, too bad for him.

It's his own fault. If he weren't such an awful person, I wouldn't have needed to do any of that.
