[Hey everyone, guess who's back? It's Peter and he still doesn't look like he's getting with the times any and changing his attire. Nope, still looks like he hopped right out of a fairy tale book.

Regardless, he's offering a smile to all, if a tad sympathetic.]

We've had a very depressing few weeks, haven't we? An event to bring unity and friendship between all imPorts and normal citizens alike only for our more seedier members to go and spoil the whole thing.

But, we have countless people making an effort to help put this behind us. Some through physical means others through word.

However, I feel I have not done my part to help alleviate people's tensions. So allow me to help with song.

[He's pulling out pipes now and raising his lips and then he plays. It's a cheerful little tune, nothing more nothing less and he does nothing to mask the sound magically to certain people. Everyone may hear it, but, some people may also feel it when the sound catches their ears.

The music will tug at heart strings, touching a far off happy memory lingering deep inside. A well of happiness just bubbling beneath the surface. Of course, it's only a suggestion in his magic. They can choose to ignore it, but why would you? It's been so dreary lately.

He has no target this time for his music, letting it's magic run a bit wild and see who it touches.

Otherwise you just hear pretty pan pipe music.

[ Gosh, why is he suddenly thinking of his sister? It's been so long since he's seen her, much less since she's played Mythomagic with him ... He swallows, awkwardly, and eyes the panpipes. ]

[Sora's quiet as he simply smiles, closing his eyes and listening to the pan music. He's not one musically inclined himself so much, but he can appreciate the sound, the melody. Not even necessarily consciously aware of the added effect of his magic in suggesting reminders of happier times.]

Everyone can help somehow. That was...real nice, Peter. I liked it!

[ Ah, of course his second believer would come and say such wonderful things. Peter gives a smile as he removes the pipes from his lips. ]

[ She has no idea why, but she's suddenly thinking about how happy she was just a few days before she got Ported in, when she played hockey with Cal and Kira. When Cal said he'd move to the city for her. She can't help smiling, getting lost in the music. Which is weird, because… the song wouldn't normally be her thing at all. Ah, well, memories are weird things. ]

Something about that music, though... it's uplifting, sure, but it's doing something else that almost tugs at him, even over the network. ]

[The music is pretty. Winry closes her eyes and remembers the pride she'd felt when she'd helped Satilla give birth to her son. When the song is ended she smiles, feeling a bit more relaxed than she has in days.]

[ It's been about a month since York arrived here and it seemed innocuous, if strange, at first when he started having trouble with the vision on his left side—his bad side. Anomalies with his sight are nothing new, but shifting colors definitely are. It's really bothersome because it keeps happening at times he should be paying better attention—like when he ran into those kidnappers during the swearing-in. He had a lot of trouble during that fight because of the bright red that clouded his vision on the left side.

The music the boy starts playing over the network is nice, and the sounds of it somehow remind him of Carolina—the before times, the fun times, when they met at the club and danced and... It's weird because this music is nothing at all like club music. And the other strange thing? The bright unmistakable mustard yellow that veils his vision on the left.

His AI, Delta, confirms. It's the same pattern as before—when the actions of another person cause him to wonder at their intentions, the colors flash.

It can't be though. He's supposed to have empathic perception, but would it really manifest this way?

So he's going to click the video feed on and ask a really weird question. ]

[ What does that mean? Peter just peers at the man, thoughtful and quiet for a time. Perhaps it's his power? Still, he needed more details on it. He doesn't want someone running their mouth if they can see something that Peter prefers to stay quiet.

However, he makes a show of looking down at himself and what he's wearing. ]

[If such music has an effect on Alduin (memories, perhaps, of days when he ruled the land) they are minimal at best, and somehow prove to be more of an... annoyance, than something actually soothing.

He naturally remembers their last conversation. Talks about facades and games. He could say a thousand things right now, but all he chooses to do is just... scoff.]

[ Seriously, Alduin. Still such a grump. You types are all so stuffy and boring. Still, Alduin knows their deal which means Peter will act like a shit openly to them. ]

[ thomas has like two happy memories total. and they're both of things that are either gone or dead now, so... yeah. but, after recent events, for thomas to be able to think of chuck (in the glade, yammering about something stupid, grinning up at thomas like to dork he is (was)) without immediately jumping to chuck's death is something of a first. for a moment, he actually smiles, thinking that chuck would like the music. probably try to play it himself and make some god-awful racket with it until it drove the others nuts.

the other conversations about him doing something weird with the music are easy to look over, but after all the crane crap, and everything else piled onto it, it finds he doesn't actually mind the unasked for power use. another time he might, but whatever. it was nice to actually be able to think of chuck without the pain tied up in it. ]

Thanks. [ just that, for a moment. the bit of serenity is enough for him to want to express actual gratitude. ] Does it work for you too?

[ Max has been filling up his time with so much activity lately, not really letting himself have time to think about the situation back home when he left. Exactly how he likes it. If he has fun here, and completely dies everything he's lost...

But hearing that song feels so strangely nostalgic, he can't help but think back to his friends -- his family that he's lost. He feels a stinging in his eyes as it pulls happy memories from his heart. Since arriving here he'd been excited, thrilled, exhaused, amused, happy... but for the first time in a long time, longer than he realized, he feels so content.

Max sticks to audio, not wanting the musician to see him crying, but it was impossible not to say something. ]

Hey, that was... that was really good. Mind you I usually go for something with an electric guitar and a good bass line but hey, I dig it.

I'm afraid I'm not very familiar with either of those instruments, but that might be because you're from a land that's a bit more- [ boring? usual? simple? ]
