[The first thing you hear is a teenage girl's voice grandly announcing her first few lines over the network. There's no video just yet.]

[3...2...1, we have video!

The video starts with the big, excited smile of, yes, a teenage girl. She places her communicator somewhere so people can get a good view of her rather ostentatious outfit, including the giant key in her ponytail, the dark blue scarf and the badge pinned to it. Then she spreads her arms wide in a grandiose pose.]

The Great Thief Yatagarasu!

[She puts down her arms and shrugs, still very bubbly.]

I'm Kay Faraday, but you can just call me Kay...'kay? [RAISE YOUR HANDS IF YOU DIDN'T SEE THAT COMING.] I've pinched myself several times and all of them hurt, so I'm guessing this is all real. [Kay does not seem bothered by that at all.] Not only that, they say I'm a hero, but I still have to go to school. [A sigh. Kay folds her arms across her chest and pouts briefly.] Shouldn't I be going to superhero school? Superschool? If this were really a dream, I shouldn't have to go to school!

Guess we can't have everything. Maybe if I save the world enough times, I'll be excused from school for forever! [She looks like she's seriously going to test that theory once she gets out of the house.]

[Residents of #007 beware, she is in her room now, sure, but you may also find her after this transmission exploring her new home.]

[Hit me. I'm interested in the series but I'll have to pass on watching because I hear talk about the level of nudity. The violence I can take, but not the nudity.]

Y'know, it's actually better to tell me now while I still don't have a lot to do. Pretty sure superheroes can get super busy. [DO YOU SEE WHAT SHE DID THERE - never mind.]

[No problem! There is definitely constant nudity. (Although everyone is about as featureless as a barbie or ken doll)]

Being a superhero doesn't automatically equal busy if there's at least fifty other superheroes in the same place, doing the same thing, in a relatively crimeless atmosphere.

The purpose of Honnouji Academy is to train students to wear Life Fiber uniforms. Life Fiber uniforms are clothing sewn with special abilities, such as increased speed, strength, and agility. The higher the percentage of Life Fibers, the more powerful the outfit. The one I wear right now is of thirty percent power.

Our goal, as it was before I left, was the conquering and assimilation of all Japanese high schools under Anti-Life Fiber rebellion flags. Typically, I wouldn't be telling you this, but as I've been told, I'm from "the past" and everything we planned to do came to pass correctly, so there's really no harm in me talking about it.

[Oh...hmm, if that's the case and it's like seeing titans...I might still consider it but spoilers are still fair game.

So, you get superpowered uniforms, but others don't want any of it. Why wouldn't they want superpowered uniforms?

[There's some really awful nudity-based scenes though. It's less the nudity of the show and more what happens in those scenes that is the really Not Okay stuff.]

Likely because Life Fibers are parasites. They feed off of humans, and in return, give strength.

[Yeaaaah those scenes are really bad. I wish this was a bit more friendly a show in terms of that kind of thing, because the plot is good otherwise.]

It's simply how Life Fibers function. It only becomes a problem if the Life Fiber content becomes too high for a human to handle. Mine are at thirty percent, and I'm fine.

[I've heard a bit about the plot and the characters are also interesting.]

Maybe they could evolve into something less parasite-y...?

... No. They really can't. They've evolved over thousands of years specifically to be like this. And "parasite-y" isn't even a word.
