[Roxas' expression is fairly cross today and he's surrounded by papers, a notebook and a couple of textbooks, but one of them is closed with more papers sticking out of it, as though it's just been slammed shut unceremoniously. Because it has.]

You know, I tried to follow the rules and do school the way they want us to here, because that's the normal thing to do and they gave me a place to live and all, but I'm done

[He tosses down a pencil.]

It's stupid. They said I missed too many days last spring, so I had to do a grade over. But I'm not learning anything new! It's just the same stuff! They want us to come be heroes but then we can't decide for ourselves where to be or what's worth learning if they don't think we're old enough? I quit.

I guess I might need a second job now. Anyone hiring?

Doing online research is better than school. Hell, any real-world experience would be. I don't know what kind of job you've got or are gonna get, but you're not going to have to write some essay about a book written by some drunk guy two hundred years ago.

Not anymore I'm not. Maybe I shouldn't have bothered going to school here in the first place, but it seemed like a good idea at the time.

Hang out with my friends, mostly. And skateboard. But I don't think anyone pays for those things.

Dude, they made me a professional video game reviewer. I'm pretty sure they take interests and abilities into account.

Maybe there could be some sort of playground or skate-park open for the kids that you could supervise. It'd mean dealing with children, but it'd be better than working at a fast-food joint or something,

Kids aren't so bad. I wouldn't mind being around them.

Is it fun, reviewing games?

Yeah, it's pretty cool. If I loved the game, I get to gush about it on top of having gotten to play a great game. And if I hated it, I get to bitch and moan about why I hated it.

That's way better than helping people with their costumes. You're really lucky.

For once, I guess. You should get a mindless part-time job. Something to take your mind off of things.
