[It's later in the evening when Skye finally tries the video feature on her communicator. Sat on her bed as she finally taps the button to turn it on.]

Uh, right. So, hi. My name's Skye, sorry, been a while since I’ve done something like this. Not that you would-

[Skye wants to turn the video off and start over, but she can't.]

Right. Forgot I can’t exactly start over. So, mine name’s Skye. I come from, well, a lot of places. I work for something called S.H.I.E.L.D., which, apparently, not a lot of people around here are familiar with. We helped protect the public from finding out about superheroes. And no, not just the Avengers.

Gotta be honest, not too happy to be here considering I was brought here against my will. But I know I’m not the only one here.

[Finally Skye pauses.]

Sorry. Kind of went off on a tangent. Is anyone even out there right now?

[ Ugh, HYDRA. It makes him wrinkle his nose every time that particular failure is brought up. They tried to nip that in the bud when it was only a fledgling zealot cult amassing in little more than an underground bunker. Bucky had his chance to kill their leader and it slipped through his fingers. ]

Huh, well, bang up job, Agents.

[ He may not know much about his mission from Steve (he cut him off after hearing that he, or his other self at least, shoots him), he knows what a menace he is to even the most highly-trained soldiers, and that's before HYDRA gets their hands on him. He can't imagine how chaotic the aftermath must have been. What does an Agency like this think they can do by themselves? Hell, it's why the Invaders were assembled in the first place. FDR needed something more than patriotism, moxie, and numbers. ]
