It's been a while since I've seen new faces on the network. [ Her smile's warm, but a little troubled. They were the first imPorts to be brought here for years, or so she's pretty sure she remembers hearing when they'd first arrived. Can it really bode well that more are coming through? ]

You must have a lot of questions. I'm sure those of us who arrived here earlier will do what we can to help answer at least some of them, so don't hesitate to ask.

[ She clears her throat. ]

But there was something else I wanted to bring up. Valentines' Day is in a couple of days. I think making your own gifts adds a personal touch, and I thought some people might feel the same way, but not know where to start. Chocolates are a pretty traditional gift -- I was going to make some for a few people tomorrow, so if anyone would like to come by and learn, I'd be happy to show you how to do it yourself.

If enough people are interested, I'll see if I can find a bigger place to accommodate us, unless you've got any suggestions. And if you want to teach people how to make something else, you're more than welcome to come.

[This is Kenzi, have you met her? She doesn't usually talk about the bad stuff with anyone save Bo and she doesn't have her here, nor does she want her here.]

Right. I'll make sure to mix them up separately, then. [ Being allergic to food is the worst fate she could imagine... ]

[Deathly allergic, it sucks for someone who loves food so much.]

[ She pauses, wondering if it's a good idea to bring it up, then figuring she may as well. ]

You're Mister Gilbert's friend, aren't you?

Please, no miss. I'm not that old.

Yeah, he's a housemate now. Him and Sharon.

[ It's true that she does seem pretty young, but it's a habit Yako finds hard to break... ]

I see. That's good then, isn't it? At least you've got someone you know with you.

[ Sometimes that can make all the difference in the world. ]

[It makes a huge difference given she considers them like family.]

Yeah.

[A pause.] So, uh, tomorrow then?

That sounds good. [ She grins. ] Though since you're roommates with Lady Rainsworth and Mister Gilbert, I hope you wouldn't mind giving them some chocolates for me. I'd give them myself, but it's a little less work this way.

[heartstings]

It uh, might be later in the day if that's cool. [Since she plans to sleep and drink most of tomorrow away.]

And, sure, I don't mind.
