[The camera turns on, it's a dimly lit area, a small box of sorts made of wood. like a bed built inside of a box. It's cozy, and lit by christmas lights. Shadow leans in the corner looking world weary for a change. His dog is leaning against his side and bringing her legs up as he continuously pets her belly as he speaks.]

Anyone else up this late? I'm having trouble falling asleep right now.

Been a lousy couple' a days, a lousy week, and tomorrow's my birthday. I don't wanna feel like shit all weekend so like... any nightcrawlers out there wanna hang out or gallivant around in De Chima?

Keep a cat company for a while?

[Aside from the kitten crawling into the small space from a compartment above and the dog at his side, and the two other cats just out of view.]

Driven to stay in your room 85% of the time, and work the rest of the time.

Where music plays and the person tries on a bunch of outfits and the other person laughs.

Cos' we're just window shopping. And trying clothes on. [He's gonna grab her hand now and pull her along.]

"I'm not doing the thing and I'm not that bad." Even though she knows she is. She's never really out of her room unless she has to be because she doesn't want to get attached to anyone other then Shadow in case they go home or she goes home. She doesn't want to be missed or miss anyone else.

"You are! And you should because you don't get to have any fun." C'mon, don't tell him you don't want to.

"You're making excuses." Heh. Damn right she is. She knows that breaking a few rules won't hurt nobody.

"I'm not making excuses and I said I'd keep watch." She refuses to go into the mall though.

"But it wouldn't be any fun alone. So why bother?" Too bad he can't teleport her in with him.

She could ... but she won't. "You could take pictures of the outfit you want and I could get it for you when the mall opens."

"I already said it. If you won't come in there's no point in going." Besides that, if he went in alone he wouldn't just try things on. He'd take whatever he wanted.

You are so much trouble Shad. "Inside the door, then back out."

"I don't think you understand what it means for something to not have a point. if you don't actually go inside and enjoy it, there is no point." Cos the whole point is to have a huge empty place all to yourself, to run around and side on the slick linoleum floors, or climb from one floor to another like it were a jungle gym.

"I would enjoy myself just a little if I went inside." She sighs, pressing her fingers to her temple. "I like going out to the movies with my friends and doing legal things." There's another frown starting. "I'm just not a rule breaker."

[orions_shadow]

"I know. You're too much of a goodie goodie. Which is why you like the bad boys, right?" Like Kevin. He laughs and grins back at her. You gonna stop him from teasing you? Hah. No.

"Where's that taco stand again?"

She rolls her eyes and frowns. "I don't like bad boys." Really, Kevin's not a bad boy. He may be rough around the edges and have a colorful past, but he's not bad. He's sweet and sensitive. He just doesn't show it to everyone is all.

"It's about a block from here on the right."

"Says the girl dating the guy who wanted her dead just a few years ago? IS that right?" He goes to bump his shoulder into her, which is sort of like bumping his whole body into her the way he walks.

"Maybe I should just eat myself into a coma."
