So, can people teleport here? As in, have you gained that power, or you had it before coming here? Has it changed somewhat, or did you lose it altogether?
And if I wanted to travel all over the world, who should I talk to?
Well if you don't, you have all of America to explore. It's a very large country with numerous geographical features, after all.
I don't know too much about the schooling system policies, but I do know that there are at least a few young imPorts that don't bother with it much. You may want to ask about it.
she's honestly not that happy to talk to a doctor but eeeh, useful info is useful
I wonder if my house from back home is here too, now that you mention it.
Opinions go from "just ignore it" to "you need to go through it". I would prefer to just give a big exam and remind everyone I had been admitted into Yale at age 12.
A curious thing, yes. The house I grew up in is here and it's a strange thing. It's not owned by my family of course, but it is the same house- at least from the outside. Depending on how the war here may have impacted the area you live in, it may be. Of course it's unlikely if it was something built by a recent member of your family.
Unfortunate. But it does sound like suitable grounds to argue your case against. Secondary school is a waste of time if you could be spending it pursuing university.
The Ambassadors as far as I've seen aren't too much more than imPort advocates. It puts them in a position where they have some ability to affect local change. But of course they're politicians of a sort, so they may be better suited to answer your queries.
My only suggestion would be to speak with Yale recruiters about entry. If you can prove your education and gain admittance, I don't see why you'd be forced to attend secondary.
You have a gifted mind if you were admitted into one of America's prestigious universities at the age of twelve. It would truly be a shame to waste it.
I can't say from personal experience, but that's a remarkable ability. I can imagine why it seems that way, but it's really just an intellectual tool you can use to your advantage. Your teleportation ability and function makes a fair bit more sense.
That's awfully specific and sounds rather dangerous, but I'm sure you know what you're doing.
[Not really, she's 13, but okay]
Well there's no shortage of scientists among the imPort population. Engineering types for the most part, but there's a couple physicists and the odd biologist.
[An assistant? Well, he could afford to pay one and technically she might be too young to hold a proper job]
I can't say I've been looking for an assistant, and I'm not the easiest person to get along with.
But if you'd like to come by the lab at any point, I'm working in the biotechnological division for Starktech at the moment. My fiance is a biologist and my lab partner- brilliant man, for all he may not act it.
[Well she didn't say anything about his male fiance, so there's one test probably passed.]
Dr. Geiszler and I have been working without interns or assistants for long enough that it simply hasn't occurred to us as something to look into. If you can weather our arguments and find yourself interested in learning either or even both fields however, then it's entirely possible.
[ Sophie Foster can't even talk to boys without feeling woefully inadequate, her policy on people liking people is that they're all better than her at it, who cares about genders? ]
Sure, the school I was going until recently was filled of things supposedly impossible by human standards, so my threshold for brain breaking things is pretty high.

Would you mind if I asked what you studied?
she's had bad hospital experiences oops
Actually I never got to go to Yale, although since I'm
thirteenalmost fourteen there's still time.[ Never mind elves are pseudo-immortal anyway. ]

Thanks, I'll see if that works. Not that I'm really interested about university here.

Do you have a particular field of interest?

Not really? I would be more interested in finding someone super smart and like, learn from them.

[ It's terrifying but too useful to ignore.
And it just hits her then. ]
What kind of doctor you are?

Either way, going and checking what you're working on it's something to do, even if you don't want an assistant.
